Returns - Seller Dashboard
I’m looking for some clarification on what I should expect to see on my Seller Dashboard.
I had a couple of ‘change of mind’ return requests over Christmas.
In each case I approved the return and authorised a shipping label to be paid for by the customer.
The status on my ‘Refunds Dashboard’ shows dates for Ordered & Approved.
One of the items has now arrived and I have refunded, however, I was expecting to see an update on my ‘Refunds Dashboard’ indicating that the Customer had posted the item back (presumably scanned by the Post Office?) but this has not happened.
Is this correct? Is it just that the PO did not scan the return?

Unfortunately it won’t show the customer has returned it as you are unable to upload a ‘trackable’ tracking number to the return if that makes sense.
You’ve just stated that the buyer needs to buy their own postage
As long as you’ve received it back OK and refunded that should be the return dealt with

Thanks Little Shop - I had intended to issue the refund as soon as I saw the return was on it’s way… to avoid issues if the return was delayed/lost.
If I can’t do that I’ll just have to wait until the return arrives - at least I won’t have to check my dashboard quite so obsessively!
