Intellectual Property Violation

Hi All,

We have had to remove a listing for a T-Shirt due to ‘Intellectual Property Violation’

Specifically using the trademark ‘Guinness’ in the title of the product without providing proof of authorisation.

We have had hundreds of this type of notice and, whilst I have seen previous posts describing similar experiences, I haven’t seen anyone posting what they did that resulted in a successful reinstatement.
Can anyone advise a solution?

Typical ASIN: B01JIZ1E5C

The specific reason is always:

‘Potential Trademark Logo Misuse’

Get brand authorisation from Guinness Brand owners and it will be reinstated. Or remove Guinness from the title. :slightly_smiling_face:

I notice the Product description states:

Part of the Guinness official merchandise

Are these shirts actually authorised by Guinness ?

I’m not entirely sure.
Another example was a Denver Broncos Ty Beanie Baby
So, in that case actually endorsed by Denver Broncos and manufactured by a global brand but no explanation sent in was acceptable.
Eventually the listing page gets removed altogether
