New seller Creating Barcode (EAN, UPC, GCID)
Hope someone can help me here.
I am looking to list some products for the first time, and I am completely not savvy with the whole process.
I will need to create a completely new listing as these will be my own branded products.
In the first instance I am struggling as to where to generate a unique barcode.
I have found several sites, some paid for, some free and some with annual subscriptions. It would be nice to hear from someone who could give me a link to one they have actually used.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

Ignore all the sites except that for GS1 - they are the only barcodes that Amazon will accept. Yes, they are the subscription ones

Can I ask one other piece of advice?
I am checking the GS1 site and there are several options when joining.
There is a “Starter Membership” For £100.00 which includes 100 GTINs and 100 Barcode Images.
Or for £119.00 you get 1000 GTINs but only 3 Barcode Images.
I’m not sure if I am missing anything, but do I need to generate the Barcode Images via GS1?
Trying to understand why the starter membership advertises 100 images when all the other subscriptions advertise only 3.

Thanks to everyone for their replies, I think I have the barcode thing sorted now, At least as far as uploading them onto Amazon to list something.
Still working through getting something actually listed, but will persevere and might need to ask more advice.
