Hermes Carriers - payment issues
I have been using Hermes for some time but recently have been experiencing issues with having to pay twice… Is anybody else having the same problem and if so have you solved the issue. I do about 10 shipments at a time and the Hermes system tells me the payment through Pay pal has failed so there are no bar coded delivery labels. to print. I have to pay again through pay pal and then I can print the labels. However the money is taken twice from my Pay pal account.

I have had this issue before with paying via Paypal. The page ends up freezing and payment is taken but no bar codes. I tried different browsers and asking them through email, didn’t provide much of an answer.
I would recommend using the pay by card option rather than Paypal as that works every time for me.
If you do end up paying twice, let Myhermes know and they will arrange a refund for you. I ended up getting a call back from a person who dealt with payments but you may just get an email reply. They are usually pretty good at arranging refunds if a mistake has occurred on their website payment system.
