Problems getting barcode labels aligned
Just thought I would share this with everyone…
I went to print a batch of barcodes and whilst the first few rows were fine, it was apparent that the alignment of the labels on the pdf Amazon created, was not tallying with the labels on the sheet. I am using 63.5 X 29.6 - 27 labels per sheet, and my labels match that exactly. By the time the labels reached the bottom of the sheet you were getting the top of the barcode printing along the bottom edge of the label above it.
Anyway, I have discovered that letting the computer use a web browser to open the resulting PDF was what as causing the problem. For some reason, all the alignment goes to hell and it screws up the size of the margins.
When I saved the PDF and opened in in Adobe Acrobat, all the labels lined up perfectly and printed perfectly.
I was using Microsoft’s Edge browser, so that might be the problem and I haven’t checked it in other browsers. I just wanted people to know that if you are having similar issues with alignment, use a proper app for opening the Amazon created PDF, not the facility that’s embedded in browsers, and you might just solve the problem.

I get the same issue with PDF’s - looks like the browser is adding its margins too - not just using the pdf margins. And different browsers = different margins too!
