How to manifest with Amazon Buy Shipping

I disabled Amazon from my RM C&D account last November, in a strive for 100% VTR
I now use amazon buy shipping standard 2nd class and hand the orders over the PO counter
Seeing that RM48 is only 1p more than 2nd class (it used to be 6p) I’d like to go back to RM48 but still on buy shipping.
Is this the procedure:

order reports - end of day forms - download ?

Do I need to connect anything with anywhere prior?

Previously I used to let all the orders migrate over to my RM C&D account

I’m aware I’ll be doing 2 manifests a day, one for Amz and one for the other

theres no menaifest needed for 2nd class as you have prepaid for the labels
the manifest is for RM48 as its a pay on account service

There is no manifest, if you do not have your RM account linked.
Your basically just buying as if you bought online from RM etc.

You need to relink your account - settings - account info - buy delivery preferences - manage your carrier accounts - add RM

Then it takes about 24 hours to relink

You should then be able to buy RM48 again on amazon and manifest in the way you stated in your op

Just to note though, RM48 is only cheaper if you are vat registered

thanks
I am not VAT reg
I am still going to use 2nd class for my parcels as it’s gone down from £2.90 to £2.85 (RM 48 £3.08)
but for LLs the difference is only 1p and I’d rather pay that for a door step scan
(when it happens)

Yes I’ve just seen the huge price hike for 2nd class !

yes!
96p to £1.05!
(RM48 not such a hike, from £1.04 to £1.06)
that’s why I’m rethinking my postages

one more thing…
by following the procedure in your earlier post above

does this mean my amazon orders will stay away from my click & drop?

the way I linked my Amazon postage account 2 years ago was via the C&D but that was before VTR gate

yes if you are just linking your OBA account to amazon, your orders won’t come into c&d still

just to note that the RM48 prices have also gone up today - amazon must be slow in updating
the £1.04 to £1.06 hike was just the fuel surcharge increase 2 weeks ago
under 100g is now £1.14 inc
101g - 250g is now £1.56 inc

that’s interesting
Amazon must be indeed slow to update
it defo shows
88p + vat = £1.06 at the moment
probably update overnight

thanks again for all info above, depending on the value of the orders I may still decide to upgrade to RM48 on some

I have to produce a manifest every day for royal mail items via buy shipping.

Orders/Order reports/end of day forms/ then request.
