Just switched to Pro account, FBM, no Buy Box
Hiya. I’ve been faffing around with an Individual account but last week upgraded to a Professional account. I’m fullfilling orders myself. At first my two items weren’t in search so I contacted Amazon. I got a reply giving me a list of issues I might want to fix, but no definitive answers. Oh, the title said my listings were quaratined. Then a while later I received another email telling me my listings were searchable (they are) and no issues. So that’s good. But I don’t have the Buy Box and under seller on the site I’m not listed as merch, I’m listed as NA which I’m assuming means non applicable. I have two original items for sale, 100 of each.
Does anyone know why I don’t have the BB?

So could be a few issues here, but most likely it is because you are a new seller. It’s very hard/close to impossible for a new FBM seller to win the Buy Box. Amazon like to claim it is because you need to prove your ability to fulfil orders before you’re allowed a shot at it, however it’s a pretty thinly veiled attempt to shift everyone onto FBA. If you send your product to Amazon and have them fulfil your orders then you become immediately eligible for the Buy Box. Hope this helps!

You are not eligible for the buy box for 90 days when you switch to or open a Pro seller Account. So you won’t be eligible for the Christmas sales.
