Did the customer actually say the external box was damaged, or are they referring to the box of the product itself? If not, don’t jump to blame RM.

How is ir RMs fault? If yoiuhave packaged it correctly then it wouldn’d be dirty or damaged. There are some exceptions - like if a lorry or fork lift has crushed the item, or if it soaked through.

Other than that ALL parcels should be able to withstand being at the bottom of a 7 foot stack of parcels and be able to dropped for 3- 4 feet onto every side and corner.

I know for sure you could literally chuck mine off a bridge with out damaging them (actually it was a viaduct!).

My sincere advice is to step away from the whole issue for a couple of days and focus on the rest of your business. Without time to think you are just going around in circles and getting no further forward.

After a couple of days start completely afresh and look at how your business was being run 8 months ago that lead to the initial issue and what the actual root cause was. Then do the same for your business as it is trading now that has caused a further complaint(s?).

Those root causes are your first section. The second section is then what you did 8 months to “eradicate” those root causes as well as what you have now done to fix the remaining issues that have caused further complaint(s). Hint - you need to actually do something and not just get kindly forum members to suggest wording as you know your business better than anyone else.

Your last section is probably the easiest and as you know is how you will ensure you continue to be a great business for Amazon to have on their platform.

But take a couple of days before you do anything.
