Being targeted for best seller?

We were in a short time Best Seller on Amazon for Essential oil singles and also Essential oil Blends.

We find since being number one seller we have been targeted with all sorts of nonsense to take down our best-selling oils and to remove us from Best Seller position. The latest is a person called Eric in China who has copied all our artwork and put it on a made-up website in China and then contacted Amazon in India to tell them to take down our listings. He even copied our Amazon Asin number. We sent Amazon in India evidence that the trade mark name belongs to us and Amazon reply is, okay but can you prove you did not copy the design. No evidence has been shown to us of Eric’s claim. Just a website that seemed to have been set up in a few hours which we doubt sells anything, but just set up to used to take down our listings. We have no direct business with anyone in China. All our products are bottled in the UK.

I would start by issuing a DMCA takedown against the ISP hosting the website citing copyright infringement. The original untouched photos used for your product shots would suffice as evidence for this usually.

Once the website is down you can then unwind the Amazon complaint stating that it was spurious, you have the original photos etc.

We have messaged Amazon with evidence showing the images are from a stock library and we purchased the right to use these images. We have even taken down some of these images. Have sent evidence that the registered trade mark is registered to us. Changed the description, but each time Amazon comes back with insufficient evidence. Have asked them to tell us specifically what the infringement is, but they reply each time insufficient evidence. Same when we ask what evidence is there from this person in China.

Also have all our best sellers taken down with bogus reasons. Latest one classing our essential oils as a medical mask and asking for us for certificate for masks. for six months they had the correct description for our essential oils, but now decides to class it as different things, the latest being a face mask.

However, many times we write we do not sell masks, they write back that they need a certificate for the masks. They have dragged this for more than a week now. Cut our sales by more than 80%.
