Test purchase to prove an item is fake
Are there any tips on making a test purchase to prove if an item is fake. Should i use my seller account or my wife’s account. etc etc…

but joking aside, never your business account for the first test purchase anyway. Maybe later if need be.

I’am in a similar situation. I’ve purchased the item and its a copy. My problem is that i still cant them of the listing, ive contacted SS but they just dont seem to care. Any advise on how to get them of the listing?

The only way to do it is buy the product using your seller account. Once you purchase the item and it arrives take photos comparing yours and received product. Then open case with CS explain situation provide order number and photos and they will remove the seller from your listing. Then return product back to seller as not described. This is only one way, it does take time and hassle but in the end is worth it. We have done this about 5-7 times already.

We have a specific account made for doing test purchases, it doesn’t matter though which account you use. As long as you can provide the order number to Amazon they are happy. We report the issues to the Amazon Brand Registry site once the test purchases have been received. We take images of the item and then return it to the seller at their cost for a refund.
