Disappearing stock

I used Amazon's stock replenishment tools to send 30 units that I sell by FBA. UPS confirmed that they had collected them and I could see that they arrived safely at an Amazon distribution centre. A few days later they had not been added to my stock so I queried it and then 10 showed in stock. A few days later those disappeared again and my stock returned to 0. The status showed as "processing" so I made the rash decision to send another 10 (and now wish I hadn't). These units sell at £200 each so we are talking of a lot of money's worth as we are only a small fledgling business. Once again i could see these arrive at the same Swansea distribution centre and once again a few days later my stock showed as 10. Then the stock returned to 0 once again. This started six weeks ago and so for the last month I have been in regular contact with Amazon help desk sometimes several times a day and am getting nowhere. Finally, I got a message yesterday from a company in USA who sell the same product being told that Amazon has THEIR stock of 30 units (in the UK!) and they were told that if they don't respond immediately Amazon are going to destroy the stock within 24 hours. When I speak to Amazon about this they claim not to know anything about it. I think they are at best incompetent or at worst untrustworthy. I think they have breached GDPR rules by sharing information about my business with a competitor. Does anyone have any idea how I can get past the help desk who just keep telling me that their internal team (who I cannot speak to) are dealing with it. This is the same story I have been told for a month now and this team (if they exist at all) never never never gets back in touch with me despite always giving assurances that they will. So Amazon has prevented me selling my product for a month which has cost me circa £4000 in lost sales but they also have lost over £8,000 worth of my stock and I have no idea whether they are going to compensate me or not. Please help me someone!

Hello @Seller_bL8FqlzLDvC6X

I'm Sarah with Amazon. Sorry for the late reply.

Are you still facing the issue or you managed to sort it out?

Kind regards,

Sarah.
