Amazon asking for Share allotment and Articles of association for the business...Why?!
Amazon is asking for share allotment document and articles of association… Why? This seems very unnessecary… any ideas why they are asking for it and what specifically they need if you are a UK company. Thank you.

It’s part of the verification process to ensure that both the company and its directors are legit and set up with companies house and HMRC. The share distribution lets them see who has authority to act for the company. All this info is readily available to anyone who wants to access it from companies house.
Be prepared this is a very invasive process and there is no way around it if you want to sell on Amazon.
