Getting GTIN exemption for unbranded items

I have tried numerous times to get the GTIN exemption. I do the process, get notification to say you can list in 30 minutes, but when I try and list I still do not have an EAN number, and thus, cannot save and continue.

This is very frustrating, and important for me to understand, as I am sure in the future I will have other stock that is not branded.

Any advice?

You won’t be given an ean number - you should just be able to select GTIN from the drop down product ID box

Have you tried a different category? I had the same problem months ago, it took a while to sort but I did in the end. It was a sub category I had to change.
