Scam or genuine?
Hi,
I am not sure if this is a warning or a request to be corrected.
I have sold on Amazon for 12 years. Yesterday our of the blue I get a call from a young man claiming to be from Amazon and wanting to set up an appointment with an Amazon agent to discuss enrolling on the 360 program. The young man who called me did not seem to know a lot about my Amazon account but I agreed to take a call today to discuss the 360 program. Today I got a call from :016-1204-7424 and spoke to a lady claiming to be from Amazon who wanted to know a lot about my company, most of which I thought she could see from my Amazon account. While she was on the phone I googled the number and it had lots of red flags attached to it so in short I ended the call.
Has anyone had any similar experience? Scam or genuine?

Well the 360 program itself is real, though we generally only get emails about it.

It’s not necessarily a scam. I get calls on a semi regular basis from Amazon reps for various different things.
But I would suggest, that you open a case with support and check the number.
If it’s valid and your interested in the 360 program, then you should be able to ask for a call back.
That program is valid and I’ve had calls about it, though I can’t confirm the number used.
I did however google that number and though it’s got 7 strikes on it on one website, I still wouldn’t be so sure it’s a scam. The usual way is that they need a bill paying etc, rather than asking for information on your business.
It could be called fact finding, rather than nefarious.
