two days ago we received this message (clipped):
Hello,
Your Amazon selling account has failed our verification process. As a result, you can no longer sell on Amazon.co.uk or any European stores. You should continue to ship open orders and respond to customer inquiries to avoid further impact to your account.
We did not get further details as of which documents failed the verification process and there is no request for additional/new documents.
We were selling on Amazon (14 marketplaces) for almost 10 years, with good feedback, decent turnover and a steady customer base.
We're VAT registered in 3 EU jurisdictions (the countries were we store FBA items, Germany, France and Bulgaria) with no fines or penalties.
Only thing that comes to my mind is that, when registering the Amazon account 10 years ago I had only one citizenship outside the EU. And there is no section on Amazon were I could upload proof of residence.
In the meantime, after living for 27 years in the EU, I got dual citizenship in the EU. I never updated my personal details to avoid getting stuck in a lengthy process of validation.
I think this could be the reason of failed validation ....
Where can I upload/send the new EU passport scan, EU ID card etc.?
The page with personal data and button Submit for verification is disabled ...
