Unfair extended delivery promise for different sellers

Hi there, it’s this time of the year again when Amazon has exchanged delivery promise for our SFP Prime orders.
I have noticed however that Amazon is not treating each seller equally.
It is Thursday 8.12.2022 as I right it before the cut off time and our SFP Prime offers are showing as promised delivery on Tuesday 13th December!!!

Other sellers however, offering their product on the same ASIN, also SFP Prime show as promised delivery on Saturday 10th Deceber.(screenshot attached)

I understand that Amazon is extending their delivery promise for Chirstmas but surely they should extend them equally for all sellers. Does anybody know what are the criteria they use to decide which sellers have longer and which shorter delivery times?

So many factors can show this and some of it is to do with where you are located and where the item is being delivered to. Also it could be that the handling times in their own dispatch centres vary and the cut off times will make a difference as well.

Even if you knew what the criteria was, you cannot really control how Amazon will display this as there are quite a few variables and anomalies.

I wouldn’t really worry too much what others are offering, I would concentrate on ensuring you can meet the expectations of the customers. I can tell you that every seller is taking a good pounding at the minute from all corners.

it also depends on your courier preferences
Both RM and DPD have sent out warnings of delays
I’ve not seen Amazon Logistics issue the same warnings though
