Why do Amazon moderators take weeks to address critical policy questions?
Sellers often face delays despite promises of quick responses, with answers sometimes being overly complex or unclear.
This lack of timely communication can lead to increased costs for sellers and reduced product variety for buyers, ultimately harming the platform. Amazon, with its extensive policy knowledge, should aim to provide clear and accessible answers to difficult questions within one working week to improve the experience for all.
Granted there are many questions posed by Merchants, and maybe only 12 Mods. However, when a major policy has been changed, and the merchants rightly ask difficult or challenging, or indeed honest questions. Then, we would hope the answers are fast to arrive.
Because they are employed as forum moderators not Seller Support.
Are they real people? Amazon only do what they think is best for them
they are forum moderators, not support
they are here to ensure the forum runs to policy, whilst they may step in sometime and offer some assistance, thats not what there are here for
