Settings changing on their own! Anyone else had this?
I have had some really weird problems over the past couple of weeks. Firstly, I enrolled in automated unfulfillable settings for FBA, which I thought was a great idea. I did not, however, enable automated liquidations, which is an optional extra in automated unfulfillable settings. However, two of my items were sent for liquidation, total value over £500. I checked this setting and it was now enabled. I disabled it and contacted support, who told me that this couldn’t happen, which I obviously refuted. While I was actually arguing with support, the setting again reenabled itself! I told support that either they had enabled it, or the setting was unstable. I was told both scenarios were impossible! To their credit, though not admitting fault and still claiming I was enabling the setting, Amazon refunded me for the 2 liquidated items. Then yesterday, guess what? I got a message saying one of my items had been marked for liquidation. The setting had again enabled itself.
Then this week, FBM sales have been poor. I checked my inventory today and my most popular items had been converted to FBA, with no available stock. I never made these changes.
I have put everything right again and changed my password, but I am not convinced that a hacker has compromised my account, as I have two-part authentication enabled and login is not possible without my phone.
I am very puzzled by all this and would be curious to know if anyone has had similar experiences.
