Effective ways to get customer to leave feedback
What’s a good way to get customers to provide feedback. I ship fast and on time but people only seem to like to leave feedback when things go wrong but never when things go right.
What’s a good strategy everyone uses to get it up? For ebay, I used to a have a sticker I would put on packages asking politely to leave feedback if they’re happy.
I generally don’t contact the customer unless something goes wrong and they contact me first. Maybe that’s where I have been going wrong. My courier auto uploads tracking numbers and mark it as shipped. When I buy from amazon, I only ever select prime and i never really get messages from the sender but I also never ever leave feedback. I’m thinking maybe along the lines of copying and pasting a template message saying items shipped please provide feedback once it’s arrived and your happy with it. Does that work on amazon?
What does everyone else do to increase feedback rate?
edit: not after advice or trying to manipulate my own feedback. I know some tricks but not interested. I am trying to get a better genuine response from real customers.

Most buyers look at message feedback solicitation requests as spam and find them annoying. This is the main reason why many buyers already opted out of the Amazon’s buyer-seller messaging. And the rate of return on them is very low anyway, from what I can tell.
You may have better luck including a note in your packages, something along the lines of “I appreciate your business! Please let me know how you feel about your purchase by leaving a seller feedback.” Or something similar.
I wouldn’t recommend a third party customer-nagging program, as a general rule. Maybe others have different experiences.
Personally, as a seller I currently do nothing about feedbacks and usually only ever receive ratings either from competitors or from the small percentage of unhappy complaining buyers who were not satisfied with their purchase and therefore are willing to take their time to damage my account this way.
In the past, I used to include a tiny package of Haribo candy and a cute handwritten note with a request for feedback, this always brought me success.

Your wasting your time, this subject has been done to death on the forums. No strategy works,Amazon buyers just do not leave feedback, you need to accept the 1% to 5% most sellers receive.
