Read onlyI have been selling a compatible vacuum cleaner bag, and my listing clearly states that it is a compatible product.
However, another seller, who I believe originally set up the genuine version of this product several years ago, has reported my listing for copyright infringement due to my use of the part number in the title.
Obviously, part numbers are not original works of authorship and are not covered under Amazon’s copyright policies. However, arguing this point seemed futile.
While speaking with an Account Performance specialist, I updated my product title to remove the part number in real time, and the specialist confirmed seeing the change. He then informed me that in order to reinstate my listing, I needed to accept the policy violation. Although I was hesitant, I followed his instructions
.Now, Amazon is saying that was a mistake and poor advice, but they claim there is nothing they can do to reverse it.
Has anyone dealt with a similar issue? Is there any way to resolve this?
Hello @Seller_Bkj7PZckrZsks,
I am Spencer with Amazon.
Can you share a case ID with me so I can look into it?
Regards, Spencer
