How would you respond?

Hi, I wonder if anyone can give advice please. i’ve just received a message from a customer who bought a card from my store. They have said I have posted with Royal Mail when I was well aware that they would receive their item and they require a refund. Royal Mail is listed on the order as my choice of carrier. Would you just refund? I had a case yesterday where someone opened an A-Z case and was refunded by Amazon, even though it was sent by RM signed For. Thanks for any help.

Whats the EDD on the order and did you extend shipping and handling to reflect the strikes ?

Did you buy postage off or on amazon ?

.Hello @Jeff_Jameson,

If a customer is not fully satisfied with an order, it is in everyone’s best interest if you are able to resolve the issue directly with the customer. Resolving issues directly with the customer protects your Order Defect Rate.

@othersellers - any other opinion on this?

Regards.
Nickolas

Thanks everyone, I did refund as suggested. Next time I will extend my delivery times. Not too many so far, fingers crossed.
