Customers False Claims Yet again
So for the record, I’m a Sole Company Owner, everything is made by hand, quality is guaranteed as I’m very picky about sending anything out which I think isn’t up to standards,
So having a bit of an interesting customer lately, first of all they bought the top, and waited and then cancelled it, which I caught in time. Then a few days later they re-purchased it, I don’t tend to monitor customers so it slipped through the net, anyway they receive the top within the time frame and the tracking shows it arrived around 5:30pm, and within 3 mins, 8 messages are sent, customer basically expecting a response after hours, the majority of the complaint was, “the print is falling apart”…
I was thinking, well that’s fairly possible if you have given it a 90degree wash, so I ask the customer, have you washed the garment?
There response is, No it’s still in the sealed packet… I was thinking, to myself, (The garment is folded so perhaps that why she think’s its falling apart?)
Anyway A few more responses from her, basically saying I want refund!,
So I say Return for refund, I’m currently waiting for her response.

Yeah I would just do as you did and ask them to open a return request and offer to send them a free return label - that way your bases are covered and you’ve done everything you possibly can.
What kind of print was it? was it a heat transfer as I’ve had those on underwear and when stretched they can look like they are cracked

Why even spend time on it? If the item is clothing she is entitled to a free return anyway, so just send her a prepaid return label, refund when you get it back and move on.
