Estimated fee per unit sold
Hi,
I am a regular seller on Ebay and just registered on Amazon and sold an item to test the waters.
- Amazon deducted 15.30% on the Watch which I sold and then I paid postage from my own packet? Is that accepted or did I click something wrong somewhere?
I sold the item for X
Amazon "Estimated fee per unit sold " is Y but the balance is still about £2.00 off, what else is Amazon deducting?
I don’t need the money right now but how do I get this money into my bank and do Amazon charge further for getting this money out?

As mentioned it’ll likely be the VAT. As to when you’ll get the money, probably not for a fair while. Funds aren’t available until either 7 days after the last estimated delivery date or 7 days after the actual delivery date if Amazon know it was delivered via the tracking.
Amazon also runs a rolling reserve of funds, so it could be that the full funds are not immediately available at the above date. Other than that, i believe all new accounts are defaulted to payment every 2 weeks with the option to disburse any available funds once every 24 hours.

You will find all the info you need, the various fees etc., which vary depending on category of goods.
Amazon will transfer it automatically to your linked account.
For new sellers they often hold a reserve in case there are any refunds etc.

Yes, if you are selling FBM (Fulfilment by Merchant) you have to pay the postage yourself. You get a shipping credit from Amazon (the amount they charge the customer) but that may not cover the actual cost of postage, especially if you are selling watches or similar items which you presumably need to send by special delivery or another service that provides compensation for loss or damage
