Selling over multiple countries

Just wondering if anyone can help I am a UK seller but my listings are across Europe. On all of my stock they have full listing information ie descriptions, keywords bullet points, search terms, however when I look at my German, italian, spanish, french listings all of the information is blank. So just the item and nothing else, if I copy and paste from my uk will it convert into the local language or will my search terms etc stay English for my European business? I can’t creat any ppc campaigns for listings in Europe with zero information about the product description bullets etc…Any help or information is much appreciated.

Hi there. I believe this depends on the selling product category your product is in. In some categories, the Amazon system automatically translates into the relevant language (especially if you have used the Build International Listing (BIL) tool). It will also depend whether you are the owner of the brand. If you own the brand, and have registered it on Amazon Global Brand Registry (you will need evidence of ownership such as a UK Trademark Certificate) then Amazon should automatically translate the content and the Enhanced Brand Content you get as an owner of the brand.
Even if Amazon does the translation for you - I would recommend getting proper paid translations. DO NOT rely on Google Translate or other free services as these do not give a context and are often more insulting to other peoples than useful. I have learned that one the hard way!
For example, we sell plastic free products and the system translated this into French as “Plastique Gratuit” (Plastic Free of Charge) where a proper translator told us it should be “sans plastique” (without plastic). This happened in all the EU sites, and so you can imagine how low our sales were initially.
From what you have said though, as your EU content is blank, it sounds like you are in a product category that does not offer automatic translation or you are not the brand owner. In any case, I would strongly recommend paying for a proper native speaker translation.
Best of luck
