Hi all.
I have a huge issue I wish to raise.
Today I got 5 refunds one after one and looked at all the emails. I noticed the name of the person was the same!
This particular item was 1 per customer however this person has managed to buy multiple orders.
Now this is where it gets interesting! All 5 orders go to different people. Not the person who ordered it and all have since been refunded!
The item in question is a returnless refund.
I have worked out this buyer is abusing amazons policy and selling this item via drop ship and then requesting a refund.
Because of this I am now down 100.00 alone today with the refunding of customers.
Can Amazon take action on this account and please sort out a new system for returnless refunds. This is happening far too much to sellers on here. Can Amazon please look into taking returns back regardless of what it is to either a: dispose of at fulfilment or return to the seller. This alone would stop all this carry on of people abusing returnless refunds.
Thank you

Quite simply you have the names and addresses of all the receiving parties, so send them a signed for letter describing the actions of their supplier and the cost of the items, it may not get you your money back but it just might give the buyer a few headaches from their customers.
If it is returnless refunds on FBM you can turn these off. I did have this enabled on my account but it just created a lot more return requests
However turning it off doesn't stop the customer asking for a refund and going to an A-Z. However they may not do this as they don't want to highlight their bad behaviour to Amazon.
If if it returnless refunds on FBA not much you can do. You should though be reimbursed for the item.
It is not an abuse of Amazon policy though to drop ship items to customers on other websites. If they are dropshipping to amazon customers this is would be against policy as it would show your details on the paperwork and packaging.
another order today same buyer again refunded

What is the rules regarding messaging people on Amazon?
I have had this issue too with a product I have been selling for 4 years with no returns then all of a sudden I get 9 requested refunds on the same product from the same person. This person was buying in Spain. Amazon were no help at all even with all the details. The products were not returned to me either - just a refund given. As I couldn't stop it happening I have pulled the product from Amazon & have stopped selling in Spain for the time being. Will be interested to see if you get a better resolution than I did. Good luck
I think this is appropriate for the old paper and pen method. Write to the delivery customer and ask them if they requested a refund. If not did they actually purchase the item on the amazon site, tell them the price you sell on amazon. Explain that this was a number of orders from the same seller all requesting a refund after delivery. Most people are honest and will be shocked that their names and addresses have been abused in this manner, ask them to contact the website they purchased from and that might get them blocked on that particular site.
Amazon have no interest whatsoever in this probem ! If you want proof of this here it is : they have known about it for over 20 years and done nothing.
Keep this thread going demand that someone from Amazon contacts you they will do through the thread they were very helpful with my last issue and got it sorted for me
Hello @Seller_h4xL0rd28RAIq,
Apologies for the delayed response.
I will definitely investigate all the orders you have provided.
One question before I proceed: did you submit any report of abuse or case ID regarding this?
Best,
Julia.
