What has has happened to amazon sales
Amazon is falling everyday… Lots of sellers stating there sales are down the lowest ever… This time last year i sold 45 products in 7 days. The last 7 days i have only sold 5 products… Ebay sales have increased as agreed with other Amazon sales. I received an email from amazon advertising sponsored items but will cost me a minimum £5 per day is recommended Is this worth it? Will it bring more sales…

My sales have tanked completely over the last month and not too sure why.
But if you’ve got £5 a day to spend I would recommend matched betting instead. A whole lot less work and guaranteed a return and profit.
I’ve made more profit this week from matched betting than I have from amazon

Think it largely depends on what you are selling & possibly if FBM or FBA. Our FBM sales are static (maybe just 5% or so down) when compared to last year.

I haven’t sold ONE SINGLE ITEM since Sunday! Not even today with Thursdays usually scraping at least one sale as a last gasp before the weekend.

Here too. Over the last 2 weeks our sales have dropped quite a bit. After a bit of research we discovered Amazon have given the buy box to a competitor who is selling the same items at a much higher price for some very strange reason. I’m not sure how that’s providing the customer with the best buying experience to be honest, paying more than they need be for the same product. After lodging a query this morning, we got a call and at first they said we were definately in the buy boxes for the SKU’s in question - much discussion went on to prove we weren’t in fact in a good amount of the buy boxes. They kept repeating nothing is wrong and just make sure our performance is as good as it can be. Our metrics are fine, we’re in very good health in that respect. We have more ratings than our competitor and there is no obvious reason for them to be there instead of us and also a couple of other sellers, who are also selling these items for less. We got nowhere basically. No satisfactory explanation, but we have our own theories. Outside of Amazon, we’re getting feedback from our reps to say the high street is dead too, so who knows? We’ve learned for ourselves over this past year that we have to be more proactive, adaptable and not get too comfortable here

Us too. Not a single sale in 3 days. Never ever drawn a duck in a day but have now in last 3! We too have been bombarded with Amazon advertising campaigns to sign up to??? Is this a scam on their behalf? We haven’t signed up to anything but looking at all options to sell elsewhere. In fact anywhere that generates revenue would be good!

Record sales with the same inventory month on month.
Whatever you are all selling does not appeal to Amazon buyers any more.
Advertising works good for us & has done for 5 years & spend under £1 per week.

Bay is translating listings to other languages so Amazon will be hit a bit.
Second, the reviews scandal is still out there and I personally stopped buying on Amazon, because whats the point, you go and read countless fake feed-backs; it’s a bit annoying at least. So the last thing I bought on amazon was …6 months ago. I think this explains clearly what’s going on.
There are other sites that you can buy stuff, will be a slow delivery but who cares.

Just started re working a product description.
Just out of interest I checked the title on mobile. Its not showing at all! Even if I search part of the title with my brand etc.
When searching on desktop via the whole title only France and Spain (where it sells better still) are showing the item when I paste in the whole or part of the title. It’s not indexing at all.
Very strange. I have just opened a support ticket.

For our business it’s completely different our business grow 400% this year. But we been investing on sponsored products, with 5-6% acos. So I would advice that amazon become to be PPC as google and you have to adapt.
