How long does a buyer have to claim non delivery?
Item purchased 18 October 2022 and sent untracked first class post (value under £20) the next day. Today the buyer asks for a refund due to non receipt. (The order is so old it’s no longer showing the full address, so no way of verifying we sent it to the correct one) I find it hard to believe that someone has waited over 2.5 months before claiming non receipt. How long do buyers have to do so?

Your own records will show when you dispatched the order. Unfortunately after 30 days part of the delivery address is removed not sure why when claims for none receipt exceed this period. If you customer is making a claim just follow the courier claims process. Depending on the contractual terms will determine whether you are entitled to any compensation for the loss.
