Best way to obtain an EU EORI number

Hi,

Can anyone here advise on the best way to obtain an EU EORI number and who they did it with and the cost?

I have been quoted 350 euros but this seems a bit excessive?

Any advice much appreciated.

Typically you would just have a number associated to you in accordance with your relevant VAT registration. I would expect that if you are unable to apply yourself to the relevant government body then your accountant should be able to make the registration on your behalf - is that what you are being quoted EUR350 for?
