Place your bets — A to Z claim, fully tacked with verified GPS delivery location
Customer has opened an A to Z claim with us regarding an £80 order that they claimed hasn’t been delivered. The tracking shows that the item was delivered. We’ve reached out to the customer on several occasions to try and help but have heard nothing back from them.
The parcel was sent on Hermes so we have a tracking number which shows delivery and the verified GPS location of the delivery which matches with the customer’s address on Google Maps. We don’t have a signature because, covid-19.
We’ve provided all of this information to Amazon. Although they ask for a “Proof of delivery document showing the recipient’s signature (such as a copy of a signature confirmation or return receipt from the courier)” but give us no way of attaching such information to the claim, but I’ve provided links to the tracking information and instructions on how to access the verified GPS location information.
What do you reckon our chances are of this going in our favour? I’m saying zero, but I’m curious to hear from anyone who’s won a claim like this.
A to Z is completely farcical. But we all know that.

All you need to do is add the tracking information to your appeal. There appears to a be small group of people who have decided just because they do not have to sign for the delivery to raise a claim.
