This is just a general query and out of curiosity.

FBA or FBM has got absolutely nothing to do with this at all.
IP infringement, is actually a legal issue.
Only the owner of said IP, is able to file a complaint.

That really depends on exactly what it is that you mean by that.
If you simply mean, can you file an IP infringement complaint with the relevant authority, then of course you can.

I always thought that as an FBA seller, you can file an IP complaint to another seller if you have a brand registry. However, I’m curious if you can do it as an FBM seller.

Please do correct me if I’m wrong.

If you hold brand registry, then of course you can. But as long as the brand is yours, you don’t need to go through Amazon to make this kind of complaint. But your still not really saying exactly what the situation is. If you don’t hold the IP, then you can’t make a complaint. If you do hold it, you can.

When questions get framed the way this one is for some reason my brain goes to “can i sell on an FBM seller’s listing as FBA without getting into trouble?”.

Pretty much my thinking as well, but “benefit of the doubt” is active until proven different.

It is a general query. For example, in a listing, there are few FBA sellers and few FBM sellers but the FBM seller wants to file an IP complaint about parallel import for example and he has a piece of evidence to do so. Can the FBM seller file that complaint even without a brand registry or the access for this is for an FBA seller that has a brand registry?

Hence, why I mentioned general query as it really doesn’t hold a specific query, just wanted to know if FBM can do that or only FBAs.
