Help to list a book

HI I mostly sell DVDs but I have a medical book I want to list.
When i select the books category I get the listing page BUT there are 2 boxes that are nothing to do with books.they are EU toy age warnings and seem to need completing before you can move on.
any ideas?? thanks in advance.

Interesting - that ISBN is certainly not for a medical book, although it is in Polish! The 00 would usually indicate it’s the publisher’s first title, so maybe they’ve duplicated it by mistake

And to answer your question about Toy age boxes, possibly because some children’s books might require safety documents - small bits stuck on the covers etc

Try and list it from your inventory page ‘Add a product’ and input the ISBN, if it has one.

If it is not already in the Amazon catalogue (which is highly unlikely !) then you would need to create a new product page.
What is the title/ISBN ?

What is the title of your book? It’s not uncommon for Amazon not to have a Polish ISBN on record (the ISBN you quote shows no return on Bookseller.com or isbnsearch.org). We have a number of Polish books and some of these we had to list from scratch. It’s also possible that the publisher has put the wrong ISBN on the book (we have discovered this happening quite a few times).

While I was writing you posted this:

Oh, so it is the Chopper book then?

Do you find Polish books sell on Amazon UK ( to buyers in the UK)?

I have picked a few up in job lots (along with Polish DVDs) but never thought to list them on Amazon…

Not really. We got given quite a sizeable consignment (for free) of mint Polish hardback books by an ex-civil servant who did a lot of stuff in Poland. Every time he went there he got presented with some large tome, usually some resplendent expensive coffee-table book with lavish colour photographs about the country, the landscape or a particular town, but he didn’t read Polish so they were no use to him (nor could he refuse them). I even had a Polish friend who dropped in one time and I asked her if she wanted to take any (she said no, but then she wasn’t particular a bookish person). Once or twice a year someone buys one of them at some suitably hefty price. But we had space for them and we’ve just left them in the inventory, waiting to be surprised. Or if we can be bothered we might put them all in one job lot and try to flog them elsewhere.

But who knows? One day they might all just fly off the shelves. I long ago stopped second guessing what will and won’t sell. Some of the stuff we get in consignments we acquire looks impossibly obscure to me, then sometimes you list them and they sell within a week.

Polish DVDs might be easier to shift.

I noticed this yesterday. Ive no idea why the boxes are there but you can get round the problem by scrolling down to the bottom of the options in each box. There is something like (I forget the exact wording) “Not necessary for this product” If you click that option for both boxes it allows you to continue with the listing.
Yet another bizarre obstacle for sellers to have to deal with
