Do you need to get a professional account to do FBA? And is there any need for a professional account if you're doing FBA? n.b. I think the main reason I'm considering FBA is for Prime delivery.
If doing FBA can you change the shipping price from £3.99 for those that don't order with Prime?
Also, is it true you can't respond to customers when doing FBA?
Thanks
The differences between the two selling plans are explained at https://sellercentral.amazon.co.uk/help/hub/reference/G64491
Either plan can use FBA and you have no control over what a non-Prime buyer pays for delivery.
As for communicating with buyers, in the main that should be left to Amazon as that's part of what you pay them for. That said, for questions about a product for example then Amazon will know nothing. It basically boils down to not getting involved in things like delivery, refunds etc.
" ....professional account "
There is no such thing as a professional account, it is the name of the seling plan where you pay £30 a month fee, with the added benefits - as linked by ForumLurker in above post. You can be on either selling plan (professional or individual) and still use FBA. If you are selling goods for profit you MUST have a Business seller account.
