Debit Card Not Accepted
Hello. An error message has appeared on my seller account today saying that my account is at risk of deactivation. Amazon Seller Central's system would not accept my credit card for several months. So I was not able to get to my orders in order to fulfill them. Since the system would not accept my credit card my account was blocked. (I have used this credit card daily to purchase things on Amazon and elsewhere with no problem.) Finally, I applied for a new card and Amazon Seller Central did accept this new card yesterday morning, yet now my account is at risk of deactivation due to no fault of my own. Can you send me to someone who can fix this? Thanks.
The Amazon Seller Central system is faulting me for something that was not my fault and my orders got cancelled. Can you repair the stats on the account? It is not fair that I be held responsible for something that was not my fault. Like others, I have spent countless hours on the chats and the phone talking to people from other countries outside of the US who don't know at all how to fix things.

Yes, this is your fault.
You have known for several months that your account is not activated but have not addressed the issue.
You must supply a true credit card -- not a debit card.
So the consequences are indeed a direct result of your inaction.
Appealing to Amazon will not change anything. Even if you find a support agent who is willing to make empty promises.
"countless hours on the chats and the phone" is wasted.
It may be that even after (finally) supplying the necessary card that you now have too many canceled orders. Is your selling account active, or suspended?

Hello @Seller_SnBruOPgdOMXg,
Thank you for reaching out on the Seller Forums.
"An error message has appeared on my seller account today saying that my account is at risk of deactivation"
I see that after resolving the credit card issues on your account, you are seeing the at-risk banner on your account health page and you have questions about how to resolve this.
So that we can assist you the best, we will need to learn more about your situation. What is the reason your account is at-risk? Is it due to policy compliance issues or something else? Do you see a "submit appeal" button in the at-risk banner? If so, you will have 72 hours to take action to avoid account deactivation.
Please feel free to provide more details here in this thread so we can guide you the best. The Forums community and I are here to support you.
Wishing you the best,
LeviDylan
