so how are we now supposed to deal with this nonsense? This listing has been selling fine for years but in the last few months has had the parent / child relationship broken 3 times and this is the latest response:
"Hello from Amazon Selling Partner Support,
I understand that you are facing issues while setting up a variation for parent ASIN with a feed file that was working fine 2 days ago.
Please note that even if the variation family was working fine until 2 days ago, it does not mean a violation did not occur.
Once our internal specialist team determined that the variation is violating our policy, no further action can be taken on it.
As per the update from our internal team, We have completed our review and determined that the variation relationship is not approved because it does not follow Amazon's listing policy.
Due to confidentiality, we cannot disclose the factors behind the decision."
The fact that all 4 child listings are now sitting orphaned in the catalogue seems fine and all the parents' job is to hold it together but that seems beyond their tiny brain power
