Manufacturer and Brand

Hi

Can you put your own name down as Brand and your company down as manufacturer?? The reason I ask this, is because I see alot of products that are the same but have different names in these categories and heading on the product.

Thanks

It’s not quite that straightforward
Are you buying products from a wholesaler to resell or designing and manufacturing your own goods ?

Just to reiterate what the others have said - stop now before you go any further and make sure you fully understand all the implications of having a limited company right from the start, the possible pitfalls of importing from China, and the requirements needed for whatever category of goods you want to sell.

Could go on, but Little_Shop’s list way back is pretty comprehensive of the things you will need to be sure are all in order before you start buying goods.

Oh, I have just noticed from your other thread that you have already bought your items
I could see a product I have bought in

Since you’ve already sent your products, I hope you haven’t listed them against someone else’s brand?

How did you list it? Do your items have barcodes?

Think It was a non branded listing but to be honest with you I am not 100%. (Seems stupid that I dont know that!!)

What about the ones you sent last week?

The reason why it’s important to get your products back before they reach amazon is because if the other seller files a brand authenticity/trademark claim amazon will destroy your stock. Amazon will not return the stock back to you and they don’t have pity for new sellers (or any seller) either. So, emailing them and telling them you’re new to all this, won’t be an excuse.

All you have to do is make your listing inactive. Even if goods get delivered they wont be available for sale. Once reached just create a removal order.
