Section 3 Account Deactivation
by Seller_Pga4Dk9BXIGHH

Good afternoon,

This is my first time using this forum, but i seriously need help,

Ive received an email from amazon saying that my account has been deactivated due to an authenticity complaint for one of the products that i used to sell, Im very confused now because i bought this product from what i believe to be a trusted supplier, before purchasing i always enquire with the supplier to confirm that the goods they sell are all authentic, in which they told me that they are authentic (im able to provide proof of this aswell).

I have been an amazon seller for almost 2 years now with a account health rating of over 250, 99% positive reviews, well over 10,000 units sold and this is enough to have my account deactivated ?.

I need help on how i should go about getting my account reactivated, the steps i should take, the information i should request etc, to ensure that this issue is sorted as soon as possible.

All help would be appreciated.

It's really funny. I only spent 30 £ to send one to the buyer, but the buyer spent 140 £ to return the package to me, and through A to Z claim, got support from Amazon. While getting a full refund of 400 £, an additional 140 £ was deducted from my account to provide to the buyer.

What's even more ridiculous is that more than a month has passed, and I still haven't received the goods returned by the buyer. It may never be received, or it may just be an empty package.

If the buyer says that he didn't receive the package, their claims team will ask us to provide proof of receipt. On the contrary, we say that we didn't receive the package. Sorry, it has nothing to do with them. More and more people are fleeing this platform. A large part of the credit goes to the claims team.

I just clicked on the 'New & Used (19) from £11.71 & FREE Delivery' tab at the bottom of the offers section under 'Other sellers on Amazon' .

That displays all offers, new and used.

*Just to add, if I select 'new' and then 'clear' it still shows all options, including your one.

Ah That's very interesting because if you click on the title of the book UNDERSTANDING DRESSAGE TRAINING you get the link "other new & used from £8,92" going in that way gives you prechecked filters all conditions apart from new.

However if you go in at the bottom 19 New & Used from £11.71 all listings are displayed in all conditions and check boxes are left blank which allows all copies in all conditions to be seen by potential buyers.

So now I need to understand from Amazon why it displays different;y depending on how you enter the listing. Knowing my luck they won't change both links to allow all to be seen they will no doubt start hiding new copies on the bottom link as well!

Thanks for your input.

List price with tax
by Seller_aagSCsld5T8UP
Amazon replied

Hi I did not clearly understand, what the "List price with tax" is . I read that it is something like recommended price for sale....does it influence something? We are the producer and the only one seller. And what when f.e. our list price was 25€ and now our price is 30€. Should we change list price with price?

Many thanks

How to escalate a SAFE-T Claim for further review
by Seller_PQfpfzGtUiOZQ

Subject: Assistance Required to Escalate SAFE-T Claim

Hi All,

Could someone advise how to escalate a SAFE-T claim for further review? We sold 2 flasks to a buyer who requested a return, stating they no longer needed the items. The return was accepted, but when we received the flasks back, both were damaged. The buyer did not use the original packaging, instead sending them back in a mailing bag.

We filed a SAFE-T claim and provided photos of the packaging and the damaged items, which clearly show the condition they arrived in. Despite this, we were offered only £9.49, which doesn’t even cover the postage we paid, while the total order value was over £37.

Your help in escalating this matter would be highly appreciated.

Thank you,

Adam

Wrongful Disposal of Stock
by Seller_v7xkoYQa5F5Xu

I had a problem where Amazon classified my new product incorrectly as a medical device. I appealed and, after weeks of to and fro, the listing was finally reinstated.

I went into my account today and discovered that they have disposed of the stock because the reinstatement took longer than 30 days.

I tried to cancel but too late, even though 29 items are still showing as Pending.

I did a seller support chat and the case ID is 10515480212.

I have lost hundreds of pounds worth of stock through no fault of my own.

There was no email or performance notification about the disposal. I know that in the past emails were sent informing of upcoming events like this. Why has this stopped?

I cannot afford to lose this stock.

Is there anything I can do to stop the remaining 29 from going?

Surely someone can ask the warehouse concerned to pull those items.

Please help @Sarah_Amzn

Customer placed an order for an item - two weeks later, customer made A to Z claim despite photo proof of delivery

Customer Comment "hello The order showed delivery but I didn't get the whole package I talked to neighbors and family and looked around Didn't even see my package I need you to check it Give me a refund thank you"

Amazon granted, and following appeal A to Z decision stands but ODR not affected - so we lose £60

One week later, a different customer placed an order for the exact same item, customer goes on to make an A to Z claim, again despite proof of delivery.

Customer Comment "hello I didn't receive the whole package I've talked to neighbors and family I also looked for the surroundings Didn't even see my package The address is also correct Please check and give me a refund thank you"

Note the significant similarities in the customer comments including the misspelling of 'neighbors'

Amazon granted, but following appeal A to Z decision stands but ODR not affected - so we lose another £60

Further fuel for the fire...the two addresses are 30 miles apart

Hi is there a team I can contact about this. I set up an account today (10/09/24) and was instantly charged £30. My account appears to be deactivated and I have pressed to downgrade to an individual plan.

Is there a team I can contact to get this charge reversed, I do not need a pro plan.

Thank you.

in reality it’s over 30 days past the finally delivery date so they can’t open a return request or leave feedback or open an a-z claim.

As it’s over 6 months from the delivery date the onus would also be on the customer to prove the fault was there at the time of purchase, which would involve them sending it for analysis.

So no you don’t have to accept a return unless there were any warranty’s, though that may be dealt with by the manufacturer.
