Other Policy Violations - Fair Pricing - Do they matter?
I’ve clocked up two Fair Pricing violations last September and now one in January
I know why I’ve got them, but I can’t clear them. I’m at a bit of a loss. Should I be concerned?
A bit of background our raw material used to come form Russia. Now due to sanctions we have to import from elsewhere and prices have rocketed, not just for us but for all our competitors too.
Prices here in the UK have risen 660% in 2 years. We now import ourselves and have restricted that rise to around 400% Obviously that affects our resale prices especially on the bulk packs where ‘Cost of Product’ is a much larger percentage of the order.
I have raised 3 case with Amazon involving multiple contacts. I have submitted invoices and quotations from suppliers showing the increase but to now avail - All I get is the ‘Our fair pricing policy… Go and change your prices’
This product sells well, it sells well even at these prices outside Amazon, in fact we are probably more competitive than most.
What do I do? If I delete the products will the violations go away. Or should I just ignore them?
Advice appreciated

I believe they do if you delete the product yes.

If you delete them the violations will go away. I used to try arguing with Amazon but I can’t be bothered anymore. I just sell my stock elsewhere.
Amazon’s loss. I am hoping their reducing sales will encourage them to review things like this (But I don’t have much hope).

As an aside - you might think after 10 years I would know - But how do you copy in either the persons post or, part of the persons post into a reply like osgood did when replying to my post?

In order to determine the fair price policy you could provide them with screenshots where the product is sold elsewhere for a higher price?
