Amzon saying LL must have full tracking
Still trying to resolve my issue with valid tracking being 0% despite using click and drop to upload all tracking.
Got this reply from them today, surely can’t be right
“We have detected that in most of the deliveries, carrier did not enter tracking movements and only showed delivered notification and no picked up scan. Please be informed that if there is no tracking movements, it is considered invalid tracking even if it shows delivered because of no movement.”

LL are fine for your VTR, many do not get scanned and so you do end up lower than the 95% but you won’t get suspended for it, as they will manually check tracking numbers to check they are genuine, there are dozens of us on here who have never got close to 95% but never been suspended as they will do the check.
There is absolutely no requirement for you to use fully tracked, although we have moved about 70% of ours onto tracked now due to the very high number of claims for non-delivery we get when LL are not scanned, and Amazon telling customer that they need to ask for a refund. We managed to do a deal with Royal Mail where we now get Tracked LL for not much more, so it actually works out cheaper in the long run as it is eliminating all the false claims.

Only the 2 invalids were a problem so you’d need to see what the issue was with those - letters maybe ?!

Hi, I had this issue back in March when they brought in the new rules, as far as I am aware after multiple calls to Amazon they won’t count LL against you providing you buy shipping through Amazon. I have now switched to this and VTR is back to either being n/a or 100% for the odd recorded item. Hope this helps

Buy postage from amazon direct for a short while to get your numbers up. Don’t forget to manifest on amazon, and get the manifest scanned at the post office.

I put the cost of my postage up to £3 and now send a £1.39 peel off as 2nd class signed for. VTR is slowly going up. People are still ordering! If they only googled, they would find my website and buy it for considerably lot less!

Please note that there is something that is not wrong, something ypu’re might missing and something that does not meet the criteria.

As you said you’re using Royal Mail as the carrier, it might be a issue with them.
NOTE ! Please ensure to meet the criteria down below;
- Use Buy Shipping to purchase shipping labels
- Use an integrated carrier
- Confirm with Carrier which ship option is tracked
- Verify Carrier name/tracking ID etc.
- Confirm/update the tracking information before the order is delivered
