I've been trying to add in each of my product listings one product at a time over the course of a few weeks, because it gets tiresome. I've been able to add them with no issue since I opened my account in 2023.

Today I tried to create a new listing like normal and received the following message:

"5461: You may not create new ASINs for the brand: Weldon Flavorings

If you believe the product you want to sell is not already listed in the Amazon catalog and should be listed as a new ASIN, submit an application by clicking here and completing the form."

I am not yet enrolled in Amazon Brand Registry, but I do own the brand and all trademark rights to the brand. Why am I receiving this error message? Did somebody else enroll in Amazon Brand Registry under my name? Is this just an error and I need to open a case with Amazon? Is there a limit to the number of products I am allowed to list? Any advice is appreciated! Thanks!

Brand & GTIN Exemption was approved, but whenever i try to list the product i still get asked to apply for brand approval?

If you continue to encounter the 5461 error for the above approved Brand and Category, we recommend to wait. After being approved to create a new listing, it may take the system up to 24 hours to reflect the changes.

If the 5461 error persists beyond 24 hours as well, please resubmit the application with the latest screenshot of the error code 5461. Make sure the ---- and time stamp are visible in the background.

It seems I am caught in a continuous loop of cut and paste replies with seller support. Several brands I was approved to list (and did successfully list until last month) have now been generating 5461 errors. I reach out and am told to go through the approval process again. So I do, and most are easily approved. Yet I still get the error. I reach out and the reply is that you are approved, go ahead and create listings. I send screenshots showing the errors. I send screenshots showing the multiple approvals for the same brand over and over. Not one person probably even looks at the information I send. I did make a call and was told that "you are approved but the permissions were not added to your account". He tells me to respond to all of the cases stating this. I do that and I am still caught in the cut and paste loop. This has been going on for over 2 weeks and involves multiple brands. All approved and all giving 5461 errors.

In addition I applied for 2 new brands. Both were approved. Yet 5 days ;later I am going through the cut and paste loop with them. One rep even sent me the link to the approval email they sent me as his "proof". I replied with the screenshot of the error.
