Issue with relisitng toys and games today?

so today was the day when we can relist our stock after the Christmas period . we have come to relist 2000 plus games only for a sign to appear by each listing…blocked unless fba. we have called amazon and have been told we are not authorised to sell our products directly but instead we can send our whole inventory to them and they can ship them. has anyone else out there got a similar situation. we are pulling our hair out as to what we can do. if we do decide to ship our goods to them we will also have to barcode each one up and it is physically going to take us hours to do. also, it would mean that we are then left with an empty building and loads of staff with nothing to do. can anybody help with this issue please???

would also like to mention that the toys and games we are listing are of vintage manufacture so cannot be purchased anymore through manufacturers websites or any shops they might supply.

I would keep trying. I seem to recall there are always hiccups with the supposed resume date on Amazon one way or another.

Bear in mind that this was what was true for you over Christmas so is likely just that it’s not been updated on your account yet. I’d therefore expect that it’ll sort itself out over the next few days. This happens every year with toys & games post Chrismas.

Mine are not relisting either. Hopefully they will sort it out soon. I wouldn’t sell your factory based on what SS say. They are usually wrong.

When Amazon messed up at the start of December I kept getting all kinds of different answers including the one you have been given.

Eventually they sent out instructions on how to remove the block. This was simply refreshing the listing.

They never actually admitted they had made an error but it was clear someone or something had pressed a wrong button.

I have just managed to start relisting mine now, as today is the first day we can as yesterday was still included in the embargo. Mine as successfully re-activating.

Good luck

It always seems madness that Amazon stop sales over the Xmas period, but I suppose they have their own toys to sell and they make more money on those.

It stops us even buying in most toys, we don’t take the risk, so we lose, but Amazon lose on commission as well.

If they are worried, I don’t know why they don’t only allow, but showing a 5 day delay for any Seller not using SFP or FBA.

Unsure why you have a factory to sell, if old items being sold of course and have to tried selling elsewhere instead as most other sites not restrictive.

I always used to buy most items on Amazon myself, as many known makes and UK/EU Sellers. Now I look elsewhere first, since so many items are unknown makes by Chinese Sellers and when received are not legal or safe anyway. So, might as well get cheaper elsewhere for the same rubbish.

It is a shame as Amazon was far better, now all they do is sell the same junk. It is difficult to actually find good items, as it is instead all sponsored by Chinese Sellers rubbish.

Try to edit one listing that you have a problem with and before relocating it change start selling date to today and this should solve this issue.
