Incorrect ASINs Assigned to FBA Shipment

Hello!

I am writing to bring to your attention an issue with my recent FBA shipment. Upon reviewing the status of my inventory, I have discovered that half of my inventory has been incorrectly assigned to ASINs that I did not send.

I have opened multiple cases and called Amazon more than 10 times, but there has been no solution. Seller support is not even trying to rectify this issue by assigning the correct ASINs to my inventory and ensuring that the misplaced items are correctly updated in the system.

Now the major issue is that my inventory is stuck with incorrect ASINs, which are, in actuality, old ASINs of the same product but are generic. The new and correct ASINs are brand registered to where I sent the inventory.

Now Amazon says that they do not shift inventory from one ASIN to another. Plus it doesn't allow me to merge the old listing with the newly created and the reason they are mentioning is "you cannot merge the generic listing with the branded listing." What a {Moderator Edit (Sakura) inappropriate verbiage }!

I am so stuck and frustrated right now. I started my Amazon business journey with so much passion but now I am bearing loss after loss and that too because of Amazon's mistake. My inventory is still stuck to the wrong old generic listings and I cannot sell that.

I am about to quit because of all these losses. Like, how can you do this to small businesses? There must be a solution to this. Placing a removal order is not a solution, because it will again cost me the removal fee means more loss. But I cannot bear a single £ loss anymore. It's already enough for me.

This is a forum for sellers to help other sellers, your post seems to be addressed to Amazon.

Did you label the product yourself before sending to FBA or did Amazon label them for you? I can't see Amazon booking the product in to a different ASIN unless there was something on the product that linked it to that ASIN.

You also wouldn't be able to merge the generic listing with a branded one as they should have different EAN numbers and be classed as a different product.
