I attempted to contact buyer but have not received a response. The buyer has not been refunded yet. So, what happens now? If they agree to send the correct item, who pays for the incorrect item to be sent back to them?

I have SKU level handling set for EVERY listing, as if that mattered. I got enrolled in Automated Handling Time against my will. Some I simply cancel when they are unreasonable. It hasn't killed my metrics. Once in a blue moon, I risk just shipping late or using outside postage to keep it affordable if I can't cancel. Generally, the worst have been near midnight purchases requiring me to ship "next day." But today I got a 6am purchase TODAY and they expect me to ship TODAY. I have NEVER offered nor desired to offer same day shipping. I am not going to cancel this one, I am simply going to ship it late hoping it helps fix the freaking AHT time for that product. I hold all my shipments to the last day to ship. I sometimes have to buy the label on monday or tuesday to ship wednesday or thursday (with the label correctly set to ship that date), but I do not hand it off till the last date in the window. So how am I getting stuck with this?

Why is AHT even offering that I will ship same day when I have never done so? I have all my listings set for 2 days handling. I have my order handling set pretty low to try to keep problems off my plate, but this is just nuts. Why does the system even have that option to set itself to 0 days when I have NEVER shipped that fast? Really would love to hear from a mod.

A Pattern of Abuse with Real Consequences:

This is not a one-off. It’s an ongoing campaign of false reporting, and it’s already caused us irreparable damage:

• In Q4 of last year, our account was shut down due to these same false IP complaints.

• That closure led to 6MM in lost revenue during peak season and forced us to furlough [X] employees.

• After weeks of fighting, Amazon ultimately reviewed and overturned those violations — confirming they were baseless.

• Now, we are again being targeted. A counterfeit complaint (ID: 17850069691) was filed and later overturned, and most recently, we received a sweeping Unsuitable Inventory Investigations violation on June 16, 2025, freezing dozens of ASINs and blocking FBA removals.

This is a clear, repeated abuse of Amazon’s reporting systems — and each time, we’re the ones paying the price, while the bad actor continues unchecked.

Why This Matters for Amazon, Too:

• Platform integrity is at risk: Enforcement tools are being weaponized.

• Seller trust is eroding: Honest businesses are punished before facts are verified.

• Customer experience suffers: Listings are artificially removed or suppressed, reducing selection and inflating prices.

We’ve even filed a federal lawsuit (Case No. 4:25-cv-00092, U.S. District Court – EDNC) to formally address this abusive behavior — the very same conduct now triggering Amazon enforcement cycles again.

Our Request:

We respectfully urge Amazon leadership to escalate this issue for internal legal and enforcement review. This is no longer just about our account — it's part of a broader platform integrity crisis.

Bad actors are repeatedly abusing IP enforcement tools to take down competitor listings, freeze FBA inventory, and disrupt livelihoods — all through knowingly false claims that are later overturned. But by the time Amazon resolves these issues, the damage is already done.

3rd-party sellers cannot continue to operate under a system where accusations are actioned before facts are verified. Honest businesses are being penalized while manipulators exploit the very tools meant to protect brands and customers.

This isn’t an isolated case. It’s a warning sign — and if left unchecked, it threatens trust in Amazon’s entire 3P marketplace model.

Buyer placed 2 orders for 25 units of Pokemon Prismatic Evolutions Elite Trainer Box for total 50 units via FBA, the cards are high value and special products, like lottery tickets, no store allow returns(Even amazon themselves not allows returns but they force 3rd seller to accept 30 days return) . The customer opened all the packs, stole the good cards, then returned the worthless cards for the full refund, It's like scratching a lottery ticket and then asking for the money back when they saw that they didn't win.

Buyer got the full $9000+ refund through amazon, this is like stealing for high value criminal activity but amazon hidden the buyer's shipping address so I can't report to their local police department. I report the buyer violation through amazon report form but only get a reply email says "We carefully reviewed your report and completed an investigation. We are unable to provide additional information about the outcome of the investigation."

I fully understand the need to protect customers' private information, but this is a special case. It has already been a serious act of theft and, according to the law, it constitutes a two-year prison .

I want a real amazon people to look at my case to make sure the buyer got punished and also reimburse me for my lost due to the amazon incorrect full refund. I can provided all the pictures if needed for invesigation and below are the 2 order numbers:
