Hi, can anyone help this new seller..

I sent my first FBA shipment last month and 5 units of socks disappeared, never to be found. I called to ask and was told to wait til shipping closed as it may need time to be sent to another FC. Finally they closed shipment and these 5 units were never active or sold, just got lost in the system.

Like many other sellers here, I received a reply saying I sent 42kg of inventory but they only received 18 kg and so 5 pairs of socks went missing in this weight discrepancy! That was completely untrue as I only sent 18kg inventory which the 5 units of socks were part of. When I pointed out 5 units of socks won't weigh 14 kg I got the standard response how they did a second check and found nothing so will not be reimbursed. I then replied to state they already made a foolish error with the weights so I expect better investigation and a reimbursement, and requested a senior manager to look at the case. I received the exact same reply about second check complete etc from the same seller support chap and case is closed far as Amazon are concerned. I replied that I want this escalated to a senior manager to look into. This was on October 10, and have heard nothing back from Amazon since then! I've updated the case a few times since requesting that someone look into this and reimburse me but nothing..

On my 3rd shipment I had a similar experience. I immediately contacted Amazon via chat and email and both times told not to worry as it can take time for units to be assigned to different FCs and for them to become active. And if still not allocated will be eligible for investigation once shipping closed. Again same response that these ASIN units were investigated but nothing found so case closed and no reimbursement. This was for 10 units this time.

Initially was asked to send the invoice which I duly uploaded, but they then seemed to turn into robots thereafter.

I'm worried to send in further inventory and considering selling out my inventory and closing my business as I'm just a small time seller and can't afford to lose any inventory.

Can anyone from Amazon pick this up for me please or any sellers advise what else I can do?

5 or 10 units isn't the largest missing amounts but I do not think it fair for them to lose/misplace and/or discard anything and not notify or reimburse me.

Thanks in advance

Spencer_Amazon could you please have a look at listing

https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B08R42XVM9?th=1&psc=1

Amazon is out of stock but keeps on decreasing the price to fix the buybox for future sales.

this has badly effected health of the listing.

Recommended retail price is 32.99, Amazon with no stock on hand is offering the product for 22.99 to hold the buybox promising delivery within 7months.

Amazon is expected to adhere to the competition laws, could you please remove or amend the amazon offering? this will allow the seller partners to have an opportunity to get a share of the buybox.

many thanks

I am a FBM seller and Amazon is my least busy platform. Ebay v Amazon is 10-1 in real terms. However, i still use Amazon. I use the holiday options a lot. From going away for 3-5 days to a longer vacation. I also tended to shut it down from december the 1st onwards due to longer returns window that amazon forces you to have for used items as well as new. The amount of fraudulent buyers goes up over this period too and amazon loves to support them especially in the lovely A-Z refund system.

On average, my holiday settings og on about 5 times a year for at least 5 days. i tend to activate 3-4 days before my leave starts to enable me to ship any orders in that last window.

No satisfactory answer I am afraid, so far.

Fixing the uk 18 knife attribute is easy I can help you with that. The issue is some genious (machine or person) decided to suspend one of my ASINS in top season but they are not accepting applications to the restricted products category at the moment as they are overwhelmed with applications and it's Q4 so they are very busy. Ridiculous state of affairs.

Anyway, to solve your problem do this:

Catalogue>Add Products Via Upload

Download Spreadsheet

Update Product Details > Get Product Template

Click the words "product template"

Type the type of product in the search box (eg kitchen knife)

Tick the markets that you are selling that product in (EG amazon)

Click Generate Spreadsheet (then download the spreadsheet) You should now have a spreadsheet called kitchen knife

Open it up and look in the example tab. You want to use example 6 for a partial update

Go to the template tab and fill out the items required as per the Example tab

Specifically for an update to the Age Restriction - its column DH in the template tab

Save your spreadsheet and go back into where you downloaded the spreadsheet and click the "Upload your spreadsheet" button. Follow the steps and keep refreshing the page whilst you wait for the spreadsheet to "process".

Once processed it will either have some errors/further actions or it will have processed it. This will be an iterative process, eg you fix an error and another will crop up etc. Keep downloading the processing spreadsheet, open it up, see what the error was, fix the error, upload again, etc. Always use the last processing spreadsheet until there are no errors.

Leave it 4 hours to be safe then contact support tell them you have now fixed the issue, when you can see the "Age Verification Required: This product is not for sale to people..." text underneath the bullet points on your listing. Screenshot and send it to them. Good luck.

This is NOT the Amazon team, but a forum of other sellers, like you. Also your tag for the mod is not correct as not highlighted in blue. You need to start typing the name then select from the dropdown eg. @Seller_DNQGSsdC7DccM

I noticed that you primarily sell solar panels, so I looked into both broader trends and specific product details that might be impacting your recent sales dip. My goal was to offer some concrete insights that could be helpful in setting your listings apart. Here’s what I found:

Seasonal Demand Fluctuations

To understand if seasonal demand might play a role, I checked Google Trends for "solar panels" in the UK. It appears there’s a regular pattern: search interest typically drops between October and December before picking up again in the new year. This seasonal insight could be worth considering for your overall sales expectations.

Product Listing Improvements for ASIN B07PR97J76

  1. Waterproof Rating: Image #8 displays "WaterProof IP73," while the product data states IP68. Aligning this information could help prevent customer confusion.
  2. Panel Efficiency: Both the product data and Image #2 list 22% efficiency, but the bullet points mention a 23% increase in efficiency. Unifying these details would provide more clarity.
  3. Dimensions: The listing shows two different sets of dimensions: 117.5 x 54 x 0.3 cm; 2.2 kg (table above A+ description) and 106L x 55W x 0.3H cm (table above bullet points). Ensuring consistency here could help customers better understand the product size.
  4. Wattage: The title indicates 200 watts, which I assume is the combined output of two panels, while the A+ content mentions 105w (presumably for each panel). Explicitly stating this distinction could prevent any confusion.

Features visible in the images that may strengthen your A+ content

  • Panel Construction (Image #6): Shows a five-layer build including PET, EVA film, Mono Cell, and TPT Backsheet, which contributes to durability.
  • 9BB vs. 10BB Technology (Image #3): The image mentions 9BB, while the product data lists 10BB. Consistency here could help clarify the technology used.
  • Corrosion Resistance (Image #8): This feature isn’t mentioned in the main product data but could add appeal to potential buyers.

Image Improvements

  • Image #2: The comparison chart ("Our Conversion rate: 22%" vs. "Other Conversion rate: 18%") could benefit from more context since "Other" is undefined.
  • Image #3: Fixing typos like "powerof" to "power of" and "significantlyincrease" to "significantly increase" would enhance readability.
  • Image #8: Correcting "High Conwersion Electricity" to "High Conversion Electricity" and aligning the waterproof rating with the product data would polish the listing.

I hope these insights are useful!

Best, Michael

If you have any credits, you may have to enable them here first (if this links work) - https://advertising.amazon.co.uk/ads-bg/promotion?entityId=ENTITYQFT3OHT5X8K5

If not, in Campaign Manager > Administration > Sponsored Ads Billing then the menu near the top - Promotion Credits

Hello @Seller_Qm1EBHTGiJYnM!

Following up on this thread. After review case provided, unfortunately yes, they do not provide specific reasons why the documentation is not meeting the requirements.

Sometimes some of these scenarios happen:

1. Invoice showing multiple products and not necessary the ASIN in question, or the product name on the invoice does not match with the ASIN information.

2. Provide a recent invoice, meaning, is not matching with the time previous to the purchase or the investigation. We do not accept pro forma invoices or similar contracts as proof of ownership because they don’t demonstrate a completed purchase.

3. Provide documentation in picture format, sometimes this could affect the authenticity of the document, Invoices and packing slips must be in a non-editable format. Invoices must be clearly created by a supplier or manufacturer. Please note that we do not accept documents in Excel, Word, or other editable formats. We therefore ask you to provide us with a scanned copy or picture of the original invoice in PDF, JPG, JPEG, PNG, or TIFF format.

These are more general and common pitfalls. However, the team won't always provide a lot of information around these decisions as the processes are extremely confidential. My best advice will be for you to review again and make sure the documentation you provide has all the information needed. (Help page related)

Any assistance, don’t hesitate to reach out to our support channel.

Regards,

JiAlex
