My Account was deactivated in the United States but not in other countries. I get an email that is asking me to verify my seller identity . Each time I click the link in the email it sends me to a web page that does not let me verify my identity. I then get another email with the same request. Basically an endless loop. I can not contact support by chat because my account is deactivated. Any help appreciated.

Amazon Randomly Charging "other" fee

I'm being charged a random amount by amazon -$3,262.06 with 0 explanations, my account has been suspended for a few months no and none of the appeals hav worked I've sent countless emails to amazon, they had over $9000 in fees locked up and slowly drained away by storage fees and not allowing me to remove any of my inventory.

Capacity limit increase request

Hello everyone.

I currently have a 1,000 cubic feet limit, with only 400 used as of today. But I need to create shipments totaling 1,600 cubic feet that will arrive partially in June and July. Because I'm planning to send new products.

If I request a limit increase only for July:

1. Will I be able to create shipments in June?

2. What happens if the inventory starts arriving in June but sells only in July?

Expand to sell on Amazon.co.jp.

Dear Amazon Support,

We are currently trying to expand our existing U.S. seller account in order to sell on Amazon.co.jp.

However, when we attempt to register through the "Register Now" steps for Amazon Japan,

we encounter a restriction message that prevents us from proceeding.

The message reads:

"Hi there,

We have detected that your Amazon seller account has been deactivated in accordance with section 3 of Amazon’s Business Solutions Agreement in the previous marketplace. We have taken this measure because we need additional documentation to verify your identity. An e-mail was sent to you earlier with clear instructions as to how you can reactivate your account.

You will need to clear the process in the previous Marketplace and get your account reactivated before you can expand to a new one.

If you don’t want to reactivate your account in the previous market place and still want to expand to the current market place, you can start the registration in the current marketplace using a different email address."

However, we do not have a deactivated account due to identity verification,

nor have we received any communication requesting such verification.

Our account is active and in good health standing.

Additionally, we are hesitant to register using a different email address,

as we understand that doing so can lead to account issues related to Amazon’s policies on operating multiple seller accounts.

Could you please help us clarify this issue?

We would appreciate guidance on how to proceed with expanding to Amazon.co.jp

without risking our existing account status.

1) The 3 units X003RQSZ1B were received from the shipment FBA18WP65R9C, 1 unit was sold and 1 unit was lost. The third disappeared during the transfer but no lost event for this

2) 2 units X003OUTIZR were received from the shipment FBA18WP65R9C but 1 disappeared during the transfer but no lost event for this

3) 2 units X0032MHLXD were recieved from the shipment FBA18WP65R9C as ledger repost says but 0 units shown and it says 'Investigation completed – shipment contents counted and confirmed'

Hi Sellers,

I could use some advice on how best to proceed in a tricky situation.

I’m trying to list a product under my intended brand name , which is also the name of my Amazon storefront. However, my listing request was denied with Error 5461, stating that Amazon couldn’t verify that the brand offers car accessories.

At the moment, I haven’t filed a trademark yet, but I plan to register the brand name with the USPTO under Actual Use, once the product is live. The catch is — I’ve learned that if I list the product as Generic now, I won’t be able to switch it to a branded ASIN later, even after the trademark is approved and Brand Registry is complete.

I’m trying to avoid listing it as Generic for that reason, but also can’t move forward with the brand listing until I’m in Brand Registry, which requires a trademark.

Has anyone dealt with this chicken-and-egg situation?

Is it better to file the trademark under Intent to Use now, and then apply for Brand Registry with the serial number?

Will Amazon allow me to list under the proposed brand name once I’m in Brand Registry even if the product hasn’t been sold yet?

Any tips to avoid violating ASIN creation policies while getting the brand recognized?

Would really appreciate any insights or experiences on how to get past this roadblock without compromising future branding.

Wrong "Product and Food Safety Violations"

At 05/23/2025, our product stopped selling by Amazon because of "Product and Food Safety Violations"

But we are sooo confused! Casue our ASIN does NOT belong to any button cell product; Eventhough we have submited so many times to appeal but Amazon refused us evernytime with the same answer and mentioned about "This product causes a safety risk.Therefore, it is prohibited from sale and listing on Amazon. At this time, we will not be reviewing any documents for this product."

BUT our product does not belong to any button cell, it is a built-in 1000 mAh lithium battery; I looked for a specialized department to do "UL"report , and all were rejected because the other party said it was not a button cell and could not do a UL report. Please look carefully at the description of my link, etc., because it is not a built-in button battery, the relevant testing department in the receipt of my mail this product, but also disassembled, but also clearly stated that I can not do this product UL report, because it does not belong to the button battery!

BUT we do have the MSDS report, and we submitted product pictures, user manual and MSDS report of product, but we same reply we got and we are now so desperate! please carefully check it again!

Please advise!

One of our products has been closed due to a Food and Product Safety violation. I checked the Account Health section under Policy Compliance to find the specific reason. However, Amazon did not provide a detailed explanation—only a general reference to the Food Safety Violations page.

After thoroughly reviewing the information, the only possible relevant issue I identified was regarding lithium batteries. In response, I submitted all the required documentation through the Policy Compliance section. However, I received the following message:

"This product causes a safety risk. Therefore, it is prohibited from sale and listing on Amazon. At this time, we will not be reviewing any documents for this product."

I have also requested clarification on which documents are needed, but I received the same response again.

We are fully committed to complying with Amazon’s safety standards and are prepared to provide any and all documents necessary to resolve this issue. Could you please provide a clear explanation of the reason for the product's removal and guidance on how we can reinstate the listing?
