Our Amazon account was closed with no recourse for having an Product (ASIN: B07JBW2GKG) containing an ingredient called 'Celastrus paniculatus’ as they claim it is a hallucinogenic.

We have tried this a few times now, and the appeals keep on getting declined. The Product does indeed contain this ingredient.

It seems Amazon is stuck with this appeal and fighting against their own policies.

-The ingredient in question is not listed on Amazon's policies, or any internal or external links they reference in their policy pages (https://sellercentral.amazon.com/gp/help/external/help.html?itemID=200164490&language=en_US&ref=efph_200164490_relt_200164470&referral=A3D53OXRDI9SN7_A182NR1ZSFPXDM&referral=A3D53OXRDI9SN7_A387BENNE1G9MC)

However they claim we still violated their policies. How is it possible for us to have our account deactivated and not re opened for a policy that is impossible to find. How could we have know this. This ingredient is not listed on the FDA, DEA or US Department of justice as a hallucinogen or controlled substance. One of them even lists it as a “herbal supplement”. We have shown all this evidence to Amazon clearly, and they keep on rejecting our appeals. This ingredient can even be brought in it’s pure form on Amazon.co.uk. So somehow it is extremely serious to be sold on Amazon.com, but could easily be brought on Amazon.co.uk and sent to the US.

Everyone just keeps on saying to us that Amazon have the right to independently decide an ingredient is prohibited, without saying to sellers, and then deactivate their accounts for this. Surely this is clearly unfair to sellers as we have no way of following policies that are not stated.

On top of this we are neither the manufacturer or brand of this product. And have ever sold a single unit.

Our product does not contain button cell, but Amazon's auditors have always refused to provide pictures of the product. What do we need to prove that we are a compliant product?

Hello fellow sellers,

I’m facing a critical issue with an ASIN and would appreciate any advice if you’ve encountered something similar:

The Problem

Amazon’s backend generated a compliance record for my product, but it immediately appeared as "Approved" (no pending review).

Despite the "Approved" status, the product was suppressed (listing became inactive).

The appeal button is grayed out/unclickable in Seller Central because the record shows "Approved."

What I’ve Tried:

Relisting the product → Still suppressed.

Contacting Seller Support → Case was escalated to the Account Health team (no resolution after 24+ hours).

Question:

Has anyone dealt with a "ghost compliance block" like this? How did you resolve it? Specifically:

Is there a hidden path to trigger a re-review?

Any known fixes for the stuck "Approved" status?

Should I delete the listing and recreate it entirely?

Thanks in advance! Any insights could save my stranded inventory!

Coordinated Fake Review Attack on our product - Request Moderator Intervention

Dear Amazon Community Moderators,

As an honest seller facing suspected review manipulation, I'm escalating this issue after receiving no response from official channels (emailed 3 times to Review Appeals, Community Help, and PQ Review teams since [29th Jul 2025]).

​​Critical Issue​​: Our product is being targeted by a coordinated fake review scheme showing identical behavioral patterns:

The customer purchased my product, received the goods and was not willing to start to pay the tariff first, and then later said that the product can not be used, there is no connector, to apply for a refund of compensation on the grounds that the product is broken, and do not return my goods. I have filed a complaint but can't get through, how do I continue to file a complaint to get my product back?

Variation Theme Mismatch – Case ID: 17939091171

I contacted Amazon Seller Support to verify the variation theme for a product batch with Batch ID: 359074020270. The support agent confirmed that the variation theme tied to this batch is Size-Scent.

However, on the live product detail page, the variation theme appears as Size-Name instead, which is inconsistent with the batch file data. When I asked for clarification, the support couldn't fully explain the mismatch but asked about the original variation theme before the feed file upload. I clarified that the original theme was Size-Scent, and I deleted the previous variation because one of the scent options was not displaying properly

I'm raising this issue here to understand:

Why is the live variation theme showing as Size-Name when the batch upload was set as Size-Scent?

i need to make sure that it will display as size-scent

I’m reaching out for assistance regarding a product review related to an FBA order that arrived damaged, which negatively impacts our product rating and seller reputation.

Key Issue:

A customer left a one-star review simply because the product was delivered incorrectly. The issue was clearly caused by Amazon's delivery system, not the product itself. This type of review does not reflect the quality of our products and is typically removed based on Amazon's Community Guidelines.

This is the review text:

I received a white fan and not a purple colored fan as ordered. The fan is large and will clap.

Hello, when I try to register the brand "Creamore," I receive generic rejection messages. When I follow up asking for specific reasons, customer support continues to respond with generic replies. How can I narrow down the root cause so I can proceed further with my brand registration?

"Your Brand Registry appeal request for brand “Creamore” has been rejected.

Why did this happen?

This decision was made due to one or more of the following reasons:

a) your account was engaging in conduct that violates Brand Registry’s policies, such as, but not limited to, invalid notice submissions through our notice submission channels or tampering with the catalog;

b) your application or account is related to other Amazon accounts or brands that have violated Amazon or Brand Registry’s policies,

c) you are associated with one or more selling accounts as a primary owner and all of them have failed seller verification,

d) inability to provide sufficient evidence of branding on products/packaging;

e) you have a selling account that is de-activated, or

f) your trademark application appears to be filed by a filing firm that may be violating US federal regulations and USPTO rules (explained below).
