I step by step followed the instructions of an Amazon rep and my account was deactivated immediately after doing so. There have been several appeals and attempts on my end and there very clearly has been no human review or resolution to this issue. They lie and say a human is reviewing it but either they are incompetent at reviewing or they don’t exist. Only an automated copy and pasted email response lying to me telling me my documentation doesn’t hit every single qualification needed to upload surely a human being with a pulse isn’t auto rejecting something that does qualify. The thousands of identical posts speak volumes about the laziness and unprofessionalism and unwillingness for these ‘Amazon reps’ are doing nothing for the pay they are receiving. No I don’t need to call a representative so they can read out loud to me something I’ve read myself 200 times. Incompetence would be a compliment for what I have witnessed and still nothing being done about it but more lies and deflection and misinformation.

I am a pretty new seller on Amazon. I am having trouble getting a certain Brand approval to sell. They have denied me multiple times, even though I have met all the criteria to upload invoices. I had the owner of the company provide a LOA and it was still denied. I have called Amazon support multiple times, they have not been able to help. We sell dietary supplements on Amazon FBA. They are our own products.

Around 1-2 months ago, Amazon warehouses started adding extra plastic wrapping to our products (which are already double-sealed), with an incorrect "Best Before" printed on it. Sometimes the expiry dates copy the MFG (manufacture date), and sometimes they are just plain wrong and pulled out of nowhere.

For instance, if a product was manufactured 01/2025, they will add this nasty plastic wrapping, with a label saying "Best Before 01/2025"

We have had many customer complaints about being sold an "expired" product, which was not expired, because of Amazon incorrectly adding these wrappers/stickers with an incorrect expiry date.

Has anyone else dealt with this, is it a new policy change?

Amazon support has so far been useless, the responses indicate that no human has read and understood the issue.

This is a harsh truth, but it needs to be said — Amazon is permanently holding the funds of thousands of sellers, not because they proved wrongdoing, but because most of us can’t afford the cost of arbitration.

When Amazon deactivates a seller account under vague reasons like “deceptive behavior” or “violation of the Business Solutions Agreement”, they also refuse to release your funds — even when:

1. You fulfilled all orders

2. Customers are happy

3. There are no A-to-Z claims or chargebacks

4. You’ve submitted ID, invoices, and everything they asked for

After that, they refer you to the American Arbitration Association (AAA). But the reality is:

• Arbitration costs $4,349 USD up front for claims involving non-monetary relief

• Many sellers are individuals with no access to savings because Amazon is holding it all

• Fee waiver requests are often denied, even for those with $0 in their bank accounts

Sellers who can pay the arbitration fee — usually larger businesses or those with savings — often get their funds back once Amazon is legally forced to respond.

But those who can’t afford arbitration? Their funds stay locked forever, and the case is silently buried.

This isn’t just my story — this is happening to countless sellers across Amazon’s global marketplaces. Small sellers, single moms, first-time entrepreneurs — we trusted this platform to build something real, only to have it taken away with no hearing, no conversation, no recourse.

Amazon, if you're reading this:

We understand the need for fraud prevention. But justice shouldn't be based on who can afford it. Holding someone’s business income hostage without due process isn’t just unfair — it’s exploitative.
