Hey Sellers and Amazon Support,

Has anyone dealt with having a brand restriction applied after being previously approved and fulfilling orders successfully?

That’s our current situation — we’ve been blocked from listing the brand due to supply chain authenticity risk. We sent an appeal with all required documents to pq-brand-remedy@amazon.com but haven’t heard back. Support redirected us but couldn’t assist further.

We’ve used:

Bank records

Supplier and distributor invoices

Proof of Amazon warehouse delivery

Screenshots proving the brand relationship

If anyone has navigated this successfully, we’d really appreciate advice or insights. Thanks in advance for your help!

Brand restrictions on approved branded products.
by Seller_QKbDJgB2YUVCV

Dear Fellow Sellers and Amazon Staff,

We’re seeking advice on a brand-level restriction issue we’re facing. Although we were approved to sell this branded product and fulfilled orders without issue, our listings were suddenly removed due to flagged supply chain authenticity.

Steps we’ve taken:

Sent a comprehensive appeal to pq-brand-remedy@amazon.com

Attached all relevant supporting docs (bank statement, EIN, both supplier invoices, proof of FBA delivery, etc.)

Contacted Account Health and Seller Support — both advised we wait, or contact Brand Registry again

Tried using the built-in appeal form, but it didn’t route to the appropriate team

Still no response. Is there a reliable way to escalate this further? Have any of you had success pushing a review through when standard channels failed?

Thanks in advance for any direction you can offer.

Selling Non Branded Items Under Brand Listings
by Seller_ChZL6Aea85Cad

Hello @Seller_JT2cdQLa0Oueg

I hope you are well!

Can you please have the appropriate team take a look at the following cases?

These reports are with regards to branded listings selling physically non branded products which is against amazon policy. I purchased samples and included photographs of each sample in the case IDs and the order ID.

For each case ID there is one listing breaking the policy.

Unfortunately this is a rampant issue in my niche and ideally all these sellers products should be physically inspected. It's very hard to compete when competitors are operating like this.

ID 17659033891

ID 16841200891

ID 16841061181

ID 16846986121

ID 16842066641

ID 16846944741

ID 16846802051

ID 17764082111

Here is the policy - https://sellercentral.amazon.com/help/hub/reference/G2N3GKE5SGSHWYRZ?shp-ca-cid=amzn1.cyrano.conversation.cid.v1.1747654130517466097

It states the following

"The brand value must match the name of the brand on the product"

"Branding on products and packaging must be permanently affixed, which means it can’t be easily removed"

"The misrepresentation of an ASIN’s brand is prohibited. For example, you cannot use “Amaz0nEssent!al$” as your ASIN’s brand value if you’re trying to add an Amazon Essentials product"

I would be grateful if these type of violations were clamped down on.

Thank you.

Hi everyone,

We’re looking for help or shared experiences regarding a restriction placed on a previously approved branded product. We had active listings, fulfilled customer orders, and suddenly lost the ability to sell the brand due to “supply chain” concerns.

So far, we’ve:

Sent a complete appeal to pq-brand-remedy@amazon.com with full supporting documentation

Reached out to Seller Support and Account Health, but they couldn’t help directly

Attempted to use the “Appeal a restriction” form with no resolution

We haven’t received any reply from Brand Registry. If you’ve had success getting attention on similar issues, please let us know what worked.

We’re hoping for a path to reinstatement and fair review.

Hi,

This issue needs to be escalated to the leadership team. Please refer to the original case 17157993951.

All units of ASIN *******TLU from shipment FBA18RD5HKBN should be re-scanned and received under the correct ASIN/s. The relabeling must be handled on Amazon’s end, as the mislabeling occurred during the receiving process.

The products from shipment FBA18RD5HKBN were meant to be listed under the correct ASIN/s, but appear to have been incorrectly labeled at the fulfillment center as ASIN *******TLU. This is a significant discrepancy and could affect many customers if not corrected quickly.

To expedite resolution and prevent customers from receiving the incorrect flavor, we’ve temporarily closed ASIN *******TLU until the issue is resolved. Please relabel these units to the correct ASIN/s.

Thanks so much for your help!

Hi everyone,

We’re currently analyzing the feasibility of selling our products (supplements) from Brazil on Amazon US. At this stage, we’d like to understand if there’s any way to estimate the average costs involved with logistics and import taxes when sending inventory from Brazil to an Amazon US warehouse (using FBA or other models).

We’re still deciding which fulfillment model to adopt, so having a clearer picture of total landed costs (including shipping, customs duties, and FBA fees) would be really helpful for our decision-making.

Does Amazon or any third-party service offer tools or calculators for this purpose?Any tips from other international sellers who ship from Brazil would also be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

Amazon automatic refunds for FBM seller
by Seller_FqAcmEvoOlVXj

Amazon has already refunded 2 of my orders with no explanation. The first one the client didn't request a refund, there's no issue on the order, It was delivered on time. I filed the safe-T claim and they said I didn't buy protected shipping services. I'm not sure I understand what's going on. Why will they first of all refund a client that has no issue with her order? hasn't file any complaint or ask for a refund.

The second asked for a return then canceled and surprisingly Amazon refunded her as well. Can someone tell me what's going on here? Are other Amazon sellers having this same issue? This is terrible, my product is very expensive, average price around $140. losing 2 orders is a lot of money and we're a small business.

I'd like to know: will the $39.99 monthly fee be charged as soon as I add my credit card, or only once I start selling? It will still take some time before my products are ready, and for now, I just want to get the account settings in place. Is that possible?Thank you in advance for your help!

Smelling salts incorrectly classified as drug?
by Seller_5fJsMddK2eHci
Amazon replied

Hello all,

Our ASIN B0DJ6PGD3S was made inactive last week on Thu 05/08 as "Unapproved smelling salt or ammonia inhalant”.

We've been selling this ASIN very well for 6+ months now, no customer complaint, everything was in order.

There are hundreds of other smelling salts being sold on Amazon - why is ours classified as unapproved smelling salt? Even if we wanted to have some sort of certificate from the FDA, they don't process smelling salts requests, as it's in fact not a drug.

We have a case ID 17712022111 where we submitted a detailed POA with all the marketing copy changes that we've implemented in order to comply with all Amazon & FDA requirements.

This is the reply we got back - please see below - but we don't know what else there is to do.

Does someone else have a similar issue? Have you solved it? I can see that many of our competitor ASINs are also removed from Amazon.

===========================

"Hello Eleven Zero Sports,

We received your submission and after careful review we have determined that your ASINs do not meet the criteria for reinstatement.

Why did this happen?

Your listings do not meet our standards. Refer to the following details:

ASIN: B0DJ6PGD3S

Title: 11-0 Smelling Salts for Sports Athletes - Extremely Strong Smelling Salts Powerlifting, Pickleball Ammonia Inhalants in Portable Black Metal Container, Instant Energy & Adrenaline

This product has been identified as an unapproved smelling salt or ammonia inhalant. Amazon policy prohibits the listing or sale on Amazon of these types of products. If you believe that this determination has been made in error, please appeal with the Drug Facts panel, National Drug Code (NDC), product packaging, and supporting documentation or justification. For more information please see: https://sellercentral.amazon.com/help/hub/reference/external/200164490"
