Hello Sellers, 👋

Another holiday season is approaching, and we want to open a discussion on a Quick Tip: Enable holiday mode.

Sellers in other stores shared with us feedback that when you go on holiday and activate holiday mode on your account, you currently have no way to communicate to your customers the date when you will be back in operation and it causes inconvenience for both you and your customers.

We would like to collect feedback from you, which will help us identify any necessary changes.

We want to hear from you on the following questions:

• How many times a year do you go on holiday and activate holiday mode on your account?

• What specific problems have you encountered in not being able to communicate the return date to your customers? Have there been complaints, loss of sales, or anything else?

• What alternative solutions would you suggest, in addition to the automatic message (e.g., notice on the store page, push notifications to customers, etc.)?

We would appreciate your insights!

Hello Seller,

I hope you all are doing fine. I have so much confusion regarding VAT. I am trying to comprehend like how this VAT system works.

Normally I calculate the profit like this;

Profit = Sale Price - Cost of Product inc VAT - Amz Fee(Ref fee, Storage costs, Fulfilment cost)

Now the confusion is that Amz also deducts an estimated VAT on each sale which is around 16.67% according to Revneue Calculator. But I have beed told that this VAT is not correct, I have to use some tools to know the VAT on my sales i.e Buybotpro. Now the buybotpro doesn't show the consistent value of VAT, sometime it's 6% or 7% or 5% So you can never know how much VAT you are paying on your sales. How you guys hunt a profitable products for a wholesale business model if you are non VAT registered business. For big seller this VAT is not a problem I guess because they don't consider this sales VAT as they reclaim it back.

Let me know if I am missing something and how should I approach this. Thank You all.

Live Chat and Phone Support Not Working

Hello,

I am hoping someone may help me in regards to this issue.

Due to a recent update made by Amazon within the category I sell on, most of my listings have child ASINS that have come apart from the parent ASINS. They cannot be put back together because the update has given parent ASINS options such as "size" which creates a conflict with the child listings. Support has offered no assistance through emails and I can no longer call support as I keep getting the following:

"Internal failure Sorry, we are unable to process your request. Try again."

I have cleared all of my internet history and have also tried using a different browser and computer.

Today is another low on Amazon, it’s becoming an increasingly common feeling nowadays. So I got a feedback for order ID: 406-2262154-9329103. The customer is complaining they didn’t get the order, today is 27/10 estimated delivery date was given of between 1/11 and 13/11. So of course I thought I’d waste my time going through the incompetence of feedback manager. Of course the inevitable outcome was received. I then wrote an explanation on the case created but of course with a few seconds the request was turned down. I don’t understand why Amazon has requested that I provide an estimated delivery date if they then allow negative feedback before the date provided? Does this mean that the EDD is irrelevant and that neither buyer nor seller needs to stick by it? Obviously this must be the case because if this feedback is allowed then there’s no point in having an estimated delivery date. Now I have to waste my time and suffer a damaged ODR for no reason until this gets resolved.

So I got the following email from Amazon in October:

Hi,We’re offering you £250 in credits to experience the potential of Sponsored Display. Just create and launch a Sponsored Display campaign by 11/01/2024 and the funds will be added to your account.*Terms and Conditions apply. This offer is eligible for Amazon.co.uk.

OK. Seemed simple. My margins are pretty tight so I wouldn't dream of throwing this sort of money at an advertising campaign but who doesn't like a freebie? Launched the campaign on the 29th October and BOOM! It ate through the promotional budget in no time regardless of how I tried to contain the clicks.

Anyway in four days it is up to £210 and to be fair, the results have not been great. My concern is that I have had no correspondence from Amazon in relation to launching the promotion and I can't see a credit has been applied anywhere on my dashboard. Now I am seriously concerned that I have missed something. Amazon have already taken a payment for these days today. I simply can't afford this. Any help would be appreciated.

Can someone help understand the change in fees.

Sold a toy last night at £19.99 and fees come out to £3.67. Fees are 15% which would be £3 so what is the extra charge of 67p?

Hello,

My account has been deactivated 3 times any reasons.

First of all, account verification; it has been verified after 1 month later.

Second; VAT; it has been verified after 2 or 3 months later.

Third one is about an ASIN (B077BGK5P7); this item has been bought from the Amazon.com and I have original invoice. Also, we have provided all necesarry documents of like MSDS, safety sheets data etc...

Finally, as you can see the screenshot; Amazon still review the submission from the date of 02.10.2024. WHY there is NO ANY RESPONSIBILITY!!! I WANT TO GET MY ACCOUNT BACK ANYMORE!!!

PLEASE COMPLATE AND REACTIVATE TO MY ACCOUNT ANYMORE!!

Are you allowed to ask or speak to competitors about why they are selling at under the profit margin....̣????

some are making £1 loss on every sale the products are high demand and are a set price to buy from wholesalers.....i am talking about small new sellers that can not get a discount etc...

i think amazon should add the profit calculate to the price box so people can see the profit from the sale easy at a glance would stop the price drops
