VAT registration for seller outside UK/EU

I am a seller from outside the UK and EU and I do not store products in the UK or EU and I do not sell via FBA

I only sell via FBM

Do I need to register for VAT or not

So my UK account was deactivated last week for no reason. I clicked the link ( https://sellercentral.amazon.com/mario/inpvMeeting/appointment/global/node/summaryNode/render ) which took me to the US store and I completed all verification required. The conformation message

"We have completed our review of your document and information.

We are conducting further checks on the document and information you provided during registration and we may contact you by email for further clarification within two business days."

I have requested help from the US store who confirmed everything passed but my UK store is still deactivated. WHY? I have submitted my passport,driving license, bank statement and utility bill and it is still rejected.

UK store keeps telling me to use the same link to confirm identity but when I click on the link it automatically brings me back to the same message

"We have completed our review of your document and information.

We are conducting further checks on the document and information you provided during registration and we may contact you by email for further clarification within two business days"

I am going around in circles with amazon and the seller support is awful! Can anybody please help before I close my account?

I generally send lower value items standard delivery, however I am recently noticing an increase in non receipt claims and A-Z claims without fair contact to resolve. All of which is costing money, time, and account ratings.

Am I silly to send low value items from £6 signed delivery? and what is the ideal threshold when you're just a small business.

Listing getting deleted and stranded inventory

Hey forum members.

I've updated a few of our listings this evening with a couple new pictures, refreshed the bullet point information and matched our A+ content with the bullet points for consistency across the product listing.

After doing 4 or 5 listings, all of them were deleted with FBA inventory set to stranded. I did not delete any listings or break any rules in regards to policy, it seems very odd that after updating pictures all listings got deleted.

Any idea why this might have happened or the best way to reinstate the listings so that I don't have to pull all the stock out of FBA warehouse and remake 5 new listings with new EAN numbers?

Three A-Z Claims in a week

Hi All

This was not funny to start with but just had my third A-Z claim granted to a buyer (as always) in a week not only affecting my pocket but also my ODR

These were all sent through RM & labels bought through Amazon Buy Shipping (Which I thought protected sellers?)

All three buyers were sent an attachment of the delivery scan showing the date, time & a GPS pin, despite this they all opened & won the A-Z claims.

Does Amazon not realise or care that with the rate of false INR claims being made so many Marketplace sellers will end up having their accounts closed through high ODR /INR due to scam buyers that eventually between those sellers who quit due to being tired of the endless hoops to jump through & those sellers trying to stick it out but getting scammed so much & loose their accounts that in the end these fraudulent buyers will be the death of Amazon Marketplace!

lost 40% of buybox's and sales in last 2days

been on amazon for a few years now so no how things work but i have gone from selling £2400 daily to yesterday £1500 no changes that are big a few undercuts as normal...and some items out of stock waiting to hit....nothing big to cause this...

Looks like i have lost buy boxes for 40% off items

worst thing is i have just had 1 x a-z claim drop off my metric and 2 x negative feedback

any help what to check would be very helpful

as scratching my head about this...

items i sell are all year round no drop in sales

Dear all

I am trying to cross-reference / balance the value shown in the EXPENSES section of my single PDF summary sheet found in

Payments Reports Repository > Summary > Date Range Summary Report

with all the invoices that Amazon produced and issued found in

Reports > Tax Document Library for any particular month.

I would presume that all the invoices found within this section ( and it varies from about 8 to 12 invoices a month ) should be added precisely to the value shown next to EXPENSES in the summary sheet. However, I can never get it to balance, and the total sum of the invoices is always less than the value in the EXPENSES section of the summary sheet

Your advice would be appreciated - has anyone balanced these two values?
