On June 26,2025, I experienced something truly outrageous as an Amazon seller. I received a return for a brand new bedsheet sold under my account — but when I opened the parcel, I was shocked and disgusted to find an underwear inside instead of the actual product.

This is not just a policy violation — it's outright return fraud and a serious health hazard. I sell home furnishing products and incidents like these damage my business reputation, mental peace, and trust in the platform.

Let me be very clear:

1) The customer returned a completely unrelated, unhygienic item.

2) The product I shipped was brand new and exactly as per the listing.

3) I’ve filed a SAFE-T claim with full photographic evidence.

As sellers, we are held to high standards — and we’re happy to follow them. But who holds the customers accountable when they engage in fraudulent or abusive behavior?

I request the Amazon team to:

1) Take strict action against such buyers.

2) Improve monitoring of repeat return abuse.

3) Empower sellers with better return protection.

This is not just about one return — it’s about protecting the integrity of the marketplace. If this can happen to one seller, it can happen to others too.

We are writing to bring to your attention a serious concern regarding repeated false/fake IP infringement complaints made against our account within the last 5-6 months.

In both cases, the so-called "Rights Owner" has misused Amazon’s IP complaint system by providing trademark numbers and brand names that are entirely unrelated to the ASIN or product in question. The wordmark mentioned in the complaint does not match the brand name filed on the trademark registration, which raises serious doubts about the authenticity and legitimacy of the complaint.

Despite this clear discrepancy, the complainant has been able to bypass the system and file a takedown, causing unjust harm to our business and listings. We are surprised that Amazon’s IP verification process is allowing such mismatched filings to pass through.

To add to the frustration, Seller Support and Health Teams have been unable to assist meaningfully. We are consistently receiving generic, copy-pasted responses without any investigation into the details of the trademark mismatch or an escalation to the legal teams.

We respectfully request the following:

1. Immediate review of the past IP claims received by our account.

2. Verification of the trademark numbers used in the complaint vs. the actual registered wordmark.

3. Action against the complainant if found guilty of misuse of the IP reporting tool.

4. Restoration of any wrongfully removed ASINs and removal of the associated policy violations from our account health dashboard.

5. An update on what corrective steps Amazon is taking to prevent such misuse of the platform in the future.

We are fully compliant with Amazon’s Intellectual Property policies and conduct our business with the utmost transparency and integrity. However, such unjustified takedowns hurt genuine sellers and erode trust in the system.

It seems Amazon doesn't have economists who can guide them ethically about the economy, business, employment, consumption, induced investment and government policy. All their high-profile leaders are engineers. They do not have the background of social science. So, they think like a machine, not like a rational human

Hi everyone,

I wanted to share a recent experience with Amazon's automated "Create Campaign" feature that I think serves as a critical warning for all sellers, especially those new to PPC.

I have one product I wanted to advertise: a women's cotton nightgown.

I used Amazon's tool to create a campaign, and this is what the algorithm suggested for my single ad group:

Product: 1 Women's Nightgown

Suggested Keywords (all Broad Match):

• night gown adult woman

• nighty for women

• cotton knitted nighty

• cotton night shirt

• cotton night gown

• laorra (a brand?)

• nutex sangini bra (A BRA!)

• dry state jacket women (A JACKET!)

• vivo mobile (A MOBILE PHONE!)

• phone exchange offer (MOBILE PHONE SERVICES!)

• renewed mobiles (...you get the idea)

• refurbished mobiles( ?? why)

• vivoy21t ( Look how Amazon help to drain sellers money)

As you can see, the campaign is set up to show my nightgown ad to people searching for mobile phones, jackets, and different brands of bras. It's a guaranteed way to burn through my daily budget with zero chance of conversion on those keywords.

Why this is a problem for all of us:

1. Wasted Ad Spend: Every click from an irrelevant search like "vivo mobile" is money straight down the drain.

2. Terrible Metrics: This setup guarantees a rock-bottom Click-Through Rate (CTR) and an astronomical ACOS, telling the algorithm your ad is not relevant and potentially hurting its performance in the long run.

3. Broad Match Danger: Using Broad Match on such irrelevant keywords is even worse, as Amazon will show your ad for an even wider net of useless search terms.

It feels like this automated system is designed more to ensure we spend our ad budget than to help us get profitable sales. The estimated performance of "1-5 conversions" seems impossible when most of the keywords have nothing to do with the product.

I'm pausing this immediately and rebuilding it manually with only relevant keywords (using Phrase/Exact match) and a "Down Only" bidding strategy.

Has anyone else experienced suggestions this bizarre? What are your go-to rules for avoiding these money-draining traps?

We don't understand why Amazon has suppressed reviews on 2 of our new listings, reached out to seller support, they say they can't help and saying that suspicious activity has happened on these listings. We don't understand what this means and who did this, so why is amazon doing this to our listing without saying who did this. IT HAS BECOME ABSOLUTELY IMPOSSIBLE TO GROW AS A NEW SELLER ON AMAZON and we might need to pack our bags from here if these issues are not fixed.

Dear Amazon Seller Support,

I am running a seller account on Amazon. I often receive calls from your team regarding running ads, but nobody ever contacts me to help with my listing issues. Every service comes with some charge, but no one from your team ever points out what’s wrong with my listings.

I don’t know how to properly create listings, and I’ve requested several call-backs, but I never get a response. Still, I keep getting calls for ads. I am really frustrated now. My sales are not happening, and it seems like Amazon does not care at all.

Please provide proper support to help me improve my listings. I need genuine guidance and expect a call from your team to help with my account and sales, not just for advertising.
